Natasha La Roi was born around 1610 in England, the daughter of a powerful Vampiric Lord named Mathias La Roi, who ruled most of the vampires in the country. Natasha was given an amazing education, and was raised to become a Lady in her own right. That was before the English Civil War that left the country in the hands of Oliver Cromwell, Lord Protector of England.

While it isn't common knowledge amongst humans, Oliver Cromwell declared war against the vampires, using the newly formed Redcoats to lay siege to every major house. In the ten years of his reign, he managed to eliminate nine out of ten vampires in the country, leaving the remaining vampires to go into hiding to avoid further persecution.

While Mathias La Roi was killed, Natasha managed to escape, fleeing to London with the goal of eliminating Cromwell. He was publicly executed prior to her being able to kill him. In her rage, she nearly killed Charles II, who was enamoured by her beauty and deadliness. In exchange for a restoration to power, Natasha would pledge allegiance to Charles and his line, the deal being that the Vampires would contain their feeding to prevent causing further issues.

Things went well until 1914, when the Great War broke out in Europe. George V, calling upon the La Roi agreement, called upon Natasha to prevent the Vampire houses of mainland Europe from becoming an issue in the war. While most of the French vampires were dead due to Napoleon's rise to power, the major house of the German Republic, the Von Bargen's, were a major threat to the war effort.

The Vampire Wars as they came to be known lasted from 1914 to 1945, with the two major houses using everything at their disposal to fight. Hundreds of vampires died, and it only ended with the destruction of the Von Bargen's holdings by the Allies during World War II. The scars of the war, however, were deep and lasting, the La Roi house being a shadow of its former self after the wars.

The La Roi house is still rebuilding, their main goal being to reproduce and grow their numbers once more. As they grow, they are cautious to view threats from beyond, such as the growing threat coming from the East, mainly China and Russia. The Russian houses are known for unchecked brutality, and they are a constant threat. It is only the emergence of major American houses that have left the La Roi house from feeling the world is closing in on them.
