She got hit by a truck.

That is, in her previous life. Yes, her. Hit by a truck, she then awoke in her new life. A new life in an entirely different world, as a completely different person.

Well, not completely. She remembered everything about who she had been before her demise, but instead of a female university student, she was now a young teenage boy! Unfortunately she didn't get any stupidly overpowered magical or physical abilities with this, but she....he probably has the very best mundane powers a person can start with: wealth and influence.

See, Nathan is the firstborn son of the Barony of Arlinus. An Er-Lord in line to inheret a position of nobility....as noble as a person can get without being royalty. Sure, he's being educated in politics, warfare, and all the other things a Baron will have to know, and his marriage will probably be an arranged one, but what does that matter?

At fourteen years old, he won't be considered an adult for two more years, and he won't actually take over the Barony until his father perishes or decides he's ready. Which is good, considering that all of this was a very sudden shock to the girl Nathan used to be, and figuring out things like how a boy's body even works is causing a period of severe transition and stress!

It isn't without compensation. Again, he doesn't really want for anything. He gets free time to do things like read and go riding. What's some swordfighting lessons set against that? Now if he could just get used to the women....and men....drooling over him, and figuring out if they like him, or just view him as a political pawn....

Nathan is easy on the eyes, fair-skinned and dark-haired like his parents. He's only five and a half feet tall and a little slender, but of course he isn't done growing. There's a promise of strapping manhood under all that youth.
