Who is Nayva? Well, what she tells people, or used to tell people is that she's an adventuring fae dragon who used to make her home with her parents in a coastal cave, as per dragon preference, and making a small house with a dock to better suit their humanoid shape. Eventually, however, a time came where Nayva's parents had to travel away from home, so her mother left one of her scales with Nayva for her to unlock her powers, telling her to be safe. At least, that's the story she tells people. In actuality, Nayva appears to have come from another world, and is of a particular, relatively rare species of dragons known as Mana Dragons, otherwise known as Mana Beasts, Flammie, or Benevodons, which in her world, are creatures typically closely connected to the elements and gods. Due to the nature of her species, and the fact that she's the only creature of her kind(as far as she's aware) to be found on Elentia, Nayva chose to disguise herself as a fae dragon, since that seemed to be the closest creature she could find to being at least somewhat similar to a Mana Beast. While Nayva is, in fact still a ten-year-old little girl as she claimed, the rest of her story, is of course, completely made up, even her parents and the scale on her circlet. Whether she chooses to disclose the true nature of her being to anyone, however, depends on if she thinks she can trust them with her secret.
Although, as of late, it seems Nayva has completely forgone that old disguise and now prefers to stay in her true form, perhaps due to some advice given to her by a friend. Additionally, during her travels while she still used the disguise, Nayva became part of a pretty friendly pirate crew under the command of Captain Lazulis who sail the seas of Elentia.
