Nepht

She always seemed to be the eye-catcher, the head-turner, the odd one out. From hourglass figure, to her fiery amber eyes and pink hair, to even her very name, Nepht has always managed to stick out. Living here, that's been both a blessing and a curse. It's been a blessing because the 'dumb ones' come her way without so much as a second thought. And by 'dumb ones', she means the typical fodder that assume the pretty faces of this Park and its outlying city can be trusted. Of course, there's a flip side to that; she's also a typical target of predators, and while some of those also fit in that category, she's by no means strong enough to deal with the means of anything larger than your typical lamia.

That should give most of you an idea of what sort of person Nepht is as far as predatory action. While her obvious appeal is her lure, she's apparently got the brute strength or aptitude to deal with larger threats... And that would be because she isn't entirely human. For those of you at home whom aren't experts in Ancient Egyptian Mythology, Nepht's name is short for 'Nephthys', and she is actually an incarnation of that very goddess. As such, she holds a certain set of powers revolving around the element of fire, with which her original form is commonly associated with, as well as a 'Phoenix Harpy' form, which she'll use in particularly hairy situations (normally when her soul is in jeopardy, for reasons to be explained further in). On top of this, she has abnormal strength for a human her size, and the predictable elasticity, allowing her to deal with prey of the aforementioned size.

Nepht is often pretty quiet about her upbringing, though she did apparently grow up in the Park and its outlying areas. She also has revealed that she's been on the lower end of the food chain just as many times as she's played the role of predator, though unless the integrity of her soul is in danger, she's seldom had problems returning. If one wonders why, the phrase 'a phoenix rising from the ashes' should come to mind. Arguably, her method of resurrection's a touch smellier, much to her dismay.
