The Nezralim, also known as "Outer dragons", "Nether dragons" or "Void dragons", are nightmarish creatures coming from the dark regions outside the many existing planes.
According to the myth, these creatures were born when an entire cohort of Angels was cast away from the Heaven they were serving and exiled in the vast darkness between worlds. Unfortunately for them, a primordial deity of the void, a being known as Xholameth in the shape of a dreadful alien dragon, found and devoured them one by one. Still, some of these angels weren't just digested and absorbed - Xholameth conserved their essence and used it to generate a new breed of monsters.
Hence the first Nezralim were born, and from them, their race exists as a dreadful plague, spanning across the multiverse.

Their abilities are many and alien, as can be expected from their origins. They are skilled at finding and creating portals and rifts through worlds. They're also know to be able to project ethereal tentacles and lashes to trap and hold their victims. Aside from that, they can conjure blasts of arcane power, and exhale bursts of azure flames with terrible effects.
As if it wasn't enough, the beasts on themselves are big, tough, strong and ferocious, and maliciously intelligent. Their are natural pedators and have a taste for humanoids, so when they manifest themselves on a plane, they're often on the hunt for a fresh, squirming meal.
