Nette's (or as she refers to herself, Misturi) casual look when she's off stage, acting more gruff as opposed to her idol persona.. Art by Marco!
Nette's appearance on stage, with her fans, and at events or gigs as her idol persona, Nette! Expect her to be warm, affectionate, and hungry. Art by the wonderful Fevv!
Nette, as an independent idol, views herself as a true musician. She commits more to the sacrifice art requires than the soulless corpo-backed bands would ever allow--fully converting her body (besides her brain and a few other organs) to lifelike synthetics indistinguishable from the real deal. With an Audiovox to project her naturally pure voice, her small but loyal fanbase is devoted and eager to share her music online. From her more general lounge music to her anti-establishment pop songs, she's taken a firm stance against the corporations that now rule the music industry--a refreshing act for a city devoid of new ideas. that now rule the music industry--a refreshing act for a city devoid of new ideas.
What most people forget about are the reports. People missing. Acid-stained clothing left outside of venues surrounding her concerts. The fact her proportions shift between voluptuous and HUGE between her sets. All of it pointing to a far darker truth. And it's upon digging further than people discover the personality that lies beneath the enchanting exterior. A viscious predator, an adrenaline junkie jumping from thrill to thrill in shootouts to pay her rent (turns out, she's a deadeye), and someone far more lecherous than her stage presence suggests.
Being a gestalt mind, the remnants of the separate entities now comprising Nette are separated into her idol persona and her more grounded self:
In her Idol state, Nette exudes a captivating charm, much like she does on stage or during events. Her girlish, gleeful, and passionate nature, combined with her saccharine sweetness, is a delight to behold. Her friendliness, cuteness, and playfulness are not just for show, but a genuine part of her personality. She treats everyone she interacts with, be it managers or fans, with the same approach, and her use of hyperbole adds a touch of humor to her character.
In her Off-Stage state, Nette reverts to her original tomboyish personality, Mitsuri, with hints of her stage persona. She takes on the role of a mercenary, using her tech-hair to change her appearance and her real name as a handle--Mitsuri. Mitsuri, compared to her idol counterpart, is a tsundere, less talkative, extremely boisterous, and boasts a more devil-may-care attitude. Despite her playful nature, she harbors a deep loyalty to those she works with, a trait that is evident in her interactions. However, her attitude towards the opposition is markedly different.
Regardless of what form she takes, what remains consistent is her playful nature. She'll often make suggestive teases or comments towards her fans (or those around her, such as Mitsuri). Of course, many take these in jest or as playful flirting...only to find themselves gulped down by their favorite idol far away from prying eyes...or taken into a tomboyish merc's mouth with a single swallow. Of course, this comes with her overconfidence often getting in her way...much to her detriment when it backfires. She also isn't afraid to express her ideals and views on just about anything, especially regarding her anti-corporate rhetoric. Time will tell if she'll continue to hold these views as her fame grows.
