About

Niadra is a Leviathan Mermaid, living her entire life in the ocean, snacking upon the local cuisine. For hundreds of years she has remained unnoticed, keeping in the area known as the Bermuda Triangle. After a long period of no food, Niadra happened upon a small ship that was sailing through her waters. Curious, she did what any hungry individual does when they see something new on the menu. She tasted it. The ship vanished into her maw, swallowed down and sent to her stomach. Thus Niadra gained a new taste, albeit a small one. A Taste for humans and their boats. As such things were an oddity, she took them when she could, a low flying plane or two, a boat, sometimes even a swimming mini-giantess. Now the well has dried up, so to speak, and she is on the move, exploring the world to find new cuisine to add to her ever-growing menu!


Time has passed, though, and as such she has found that humans are more than food, some actually make great company! A few docks harbor her as a safe place, a home to her, and have given her a great many things, including fancy tattoos, piercings, and even a necklace for her to wear! She has grown to be more friendly towards people, speaking with them and conversing in such manners, but if she grows too hungry that fish won't do anymore, she'll definitely seek to slurp up a person or two!

Personality

Niadra, although quite ravenous, is a friendly individual. She will converse with any that she can actually hear, and can often be persuaded from eating someone if she has talked to them long enough to get to know them. That being said, at peak hunger levels even the most conversational of individuals cannot save themselves from her gullet. This rarely happens, though, as she constantly can be found at sea chasing down ships to swallow down.


Magic

Yes, even this giant mermaid possesses some magical prowess, as she has demonstrated through her life. A more passive ability allows her long life without aging, although she certainly is not immune to injury. Her elemental affiliation revolves around water, obviously, but with some air element thrown in, allowing her to not only control waves to a minor degree, but whip up storms to tease sailors now and then. Most of it is non-harmful, but should she become hungry she can create a whirlpool to try and draw people down into her maw, a quick way to eat if there's no fish around!
