Notil

Official Story

Notil Zharin was born into a native Nevrean tribe, and lived there for most of his life. He grew to love singing, and performed several times classical operas of his people. However, the story goes that he grew tired of his cultural homeland and longed to see the more civilized areas of the world.

How he reached the city is a mystery, especially since he supposedly traveled alone. However, upon entering civilization the naive native, instead of being awed by the strange splendor, began putting on shows. Although he wasn't as good as those who'd trained their whole lives with musical guilds, his point of origin acquired enough interest that he became somewhat of a star.

He joined a few operatic troopes, but never seemed to stick with one for long. He's currently living in a decently nice house in a decently nice part of the city, working for a middling theatre. Oddly enough he never sings native songs in public, although there are reports of him singing them in the privacy of his own home.

Personality-wise, Notil is nice, despite his half-fame. He behaves rather childlike in most situations, as though never really aware of larger events or consequences of his choices. He tends to wear inexpensive clothes, though he does own at least one rather ornate hand-made native blouse, which he wears on special occasions, or when he wants to feel special.

He still has some trouble speaking the common language, but he's doing his best to learn!

RP Info

I made Notil primarily because Nevreans are just too cute, and I had to get a character. I also enjoy a lot of things about them, how their gender roles work, and how they separate romance form sex. I'm not all sure what I'm wanting to do with Notil, but I hope it'll be fun!

In general, though, he's going to be more of a prey character. There are situations in which I could see him pred, but I won't go into that here. I'll bring it up if I think it's a thing I want to do. In general, though, if you're going to approach me about a scene, you should expect to be the predator. That's just how this character is going to be. Also, don't expect there to be sex of any kind. It's not in-character for him, nor do I particularly enjoy it.

Also keep in mind I don't have much time for RP, and so even if you do have a good scene idea, and I agree, it still might not happen for weeks, even months. Yes, it sucks, but that's just how my life is right now, sorry.
