tl;dr: A devout follower of Morax, the God of Geo. She stood and fought at his side during the archon wars, but as fate would have
it, she was unintentionally sealed away with Osial, another ancient god vying for power. She lay dormant, sealed in a ball of
electro energy for 3700 years until being released by Tartaglia releasing the overlord of the vortex to destroy Liyue harbor.
Nukena woke to a world much different from the one she had known previously. To start, outside of the rapid development of Liyue, she
was pained to find out that the Morax she knew and loved was gone. Not only was she presented with this information, but also that
the people she'd been imprisoned to help protect had no knowledge of her existance whatsoever. She was a forgotten relic of a past
none of them could recall.
The pain of losing the God she lived for and also of knowing that the thousands of years of suffering and agony she endured for his
and his peoples' sake was for naught left her broken. She decided to leave Liyue behind and go out and see what had become of the
rest of the world while she slept.
