Nyahnu

Tribal Nyahs!

Deep in the jungles of Papu Nau, many have rumored that a tribe of natives lives and prospers near the Nulin River where explorers have often passed on their expeditions through the expansive jungle. Many rumor about them and just as many dispute their existence until the rumored natives made themselves known to the strange people visiting their jungle; the Nyahnu were finally proved to be real after so much disputing among outsiders! The Nyahnu had been living for who knows how long within Papu Nau with their village being only miles from the Nulin River where explorers were so close yet so far to finding their village. They tribe having been rather disconnected from the wider modern world that was happening around them; the group of tribal demis having kept to more traditional and indigenous customs for many generations. Yet unlike other indigenous tribes, the Nyahnu were curious and open minded of these new strangers and their strange auras that they had with them. They were friendly surely and looked in awe at what these travelers brought with them when visiting their village after they knew about their existence. The Nyahnu were more than happy to also show their own way of life and own 'technology' to the newcomers; however primitive and outdated it is compared to those magical 'pads' that the newcomers held easily in their hands. They even had such complex clothes! The Nyahnu seemed to be rather matriarchal and newcomers could notice that alongside being half feline, the tribe was seemingly comprised of females singlehandedly even the Underlings. The tribal felines lived off the land and nearby river that provided them their main diet; Fish! They depended quite enough on the river and liked to offer their extra catches to any newcomer if they're interested. Though the Nyahnu can be a bit aggressive if provoked or if threaten their village or Underlings as rather protective of them. Despite such, they try their best to have good relations with the newcomers whenever they're around. Though the jungle is a dangerous place as they warn their friends about it, the same dangerous land they have to struggle and put up with on a bit of a daily basis. So many dangers in Papu Nau, the Nyahnu knows to be careful!
