Nyuzumi

Being a maid can be hazardous sometimes, especially when you're a clumsy little maid like Nyunee is. Despite the fact that Nyu has a main owner, she also regularly works for other clients, mostly for a few hours to clean their homes or working places (she also have to deal with very "strange" and inappropriate requests).

Over the time, the lil' bluette did quite a lot of cleaning in different places, some of which were quite messy or strange, visiting different places, but she never complained nor asked questions. One day, a weird-looking guy asked for her services, he was formally dressed, didn't look too suspicious but something was off about him. Nyu couldn't put her finger on it but heh, money was money. The client's appartment was quite small but it seemed well maintained, just a bit dusty. Some weird and peculiar flasks were sitting on a big wooden shelf. All the strange looking flasks were filled with colorful liquids, some of which were glowing ! Nyu had seen weirder things but still, that colorful display was quite alluring. Nyu's client had been clear, clean the floor, the table and other furniture but don't touch the shelf. The thing is, Nyu cleaned out the whole place in an hour and it wasn't really messy to begin with. And of course, because Nyu was filled with good intentions and not because she wanted to see these flasks and their strange liquid up close nonono, she decided to tidy up that shelve a little, juuust a little because it looked oh sooo dusty !

What had to happen finally happened, the goofball was wiggling her featherduster while standing up on her tippy-toes, without paying attention to what she was doing as she was too busy staring at one of the jars, one that contained a pretty and bubbly pink liquid. She jumped as she heard loud glass shattering noises, it looked like she hit one of the recipients with the back of her featherduster, o-oopsie !

Ohnonononono... This wasn't good, this wasn't good at all, Nyu was clumsy yes, that was a well-known fact but she never broke anything that looked as valuable as this flask ! The panicked maid quickly threw herself on the ground, reaching for the floorcloth to rapidly swipe that liquid and clean off the floor before picking up the small glass parts that were scattered. During her hasty cleaning, Nyu's hands touched some of that weird looking liquid and she probably inhaled some of these strange vapors that were emanating from that glowing puddle as well. The tiny worried chump didn't care at all thought, the floor was now spotless and her outfit remained unstained, that's what mattered the most to her. Was it because she inhaled too much of these peculiar fumes or because she was too stressed, nobody will ever know but the tiny one quickly passed out, staggering a lil' before collapsing heavily on the floor. Hopefully for Nyu she had picked all the pieces of glass before collapsing.

Many hours passed, or was it days, months ? Naah, the clumsy maid was out of only 45mn apparently, and was awoken by one angry-looking client. Nyu spent a long time apologizing to her client, and she was so embarassed and angry at herself, she didn't even notice that some large and grey fuzzy ears popped out on the sides of her head and that a long wiggly tail appeared right above her tiny rump. ( Well actually she did but she was too busy apologizing. Apparently, the content of the potion was priceless, and things could have turned out way worse if Nyu's skin absorbed the whole thing, she would have turned into a mouse, entirely.)

Little did Nyu know, the person was actually lying to her. He could make these mixtures quite easily and was just finding a reason to not pay her. Worse, he also said that he could fix Nyu's problem if she gave him a tremendous amount of money, which she didn't have obviously. Still quite ashamed of herself, the naive blue haired girl was fine with not getting paid, she just wanted to leave this house as soon as possible. Besides, she had dealt with some similar "side effects" before and most of the time they were not permanent, r-right ?

Getting some mousey parts had some perks and downsides, but at least Nyu didn't end up with too prominent teeth :B. Her big and extremely sensitive ears gave her increased hearing abilities , but due to their size it was also problematic; loud noises would hurt her. The poor lass now had to fold her ears over her cheeks when navigating through a noisy area. As for that newly acquired tail, it looked like it had a mind of its own, Nyu couldn't control it even if she tried hard. That's too bad, being able to grab some thingies with it would have been cool, oh well... That pink noodle gave Nyu a better balance, but it was more getting in the way than helping Nyu, knocking over things and getting stuck between her legs but well, Nyu was clumsy at the core.
