Lena Oxton was one of Britain's best fighter pilots. She was so talented at aerial combat that she was chosen to test pilot the 'Slipstream' an experimental fighter jet with teleportation capabilities. However a failure in the project caused her to become adrift in Time, fading in and out of time until her friend Winston built her a Chronal accelerator, which kept her fixed to a specific time, also allowing her to teleport short distances and rewind time by a few seconds.

A little bit arrogant about her powers, Lena tried to push her powers to the brink and...whoops, ended up stranded in the Nexus. Which was not exactly what she wanted to do.
