Blade length is typically just shorter than hand to ground,
which makes her blade length probably around 120-125 cm.

She would most likely wield a specially made Odachi.
Katsuko probably has a spear as well for good measure.

Katsuko (勝子, Kanji using "victorious" and "child") was originally born with a different name - one she is
unfamiliar with. She lived in a village with other Oni, away from a town when her place got raided. Oni may
be Yōkai, but sometimes humans can act like monsters too. That night she was seperated from her parents, and
wandered the forest, hiding until she was found there by a disgraced Samurai.

That man brought her to his home outside the village where he cared for her. He raised her by himself for
despite her nature. Because of his generosity, Katsuko grew up literate and well trained with to use many
weapons, like a nodachi or naginata. This sets her apart from many Oni.

Years later, her "father" wound up killed when some people found out about Katsuko. So she took her clothes
her nodachi (which feels like a normal sword for her height), and a naginata and left to search for vengeance.

She did find her vengeance, but it didn't change the past. However, a monk she met helped her accept the past
easier, and through her introspection with him she found her spirit energy (and now she's in the nexus, ofc).

Only Samurai would be allowed to have last names, so although she was given one she'd be referred to as Katsuko
instead. Obviously surnames are read first in Japan, but I'd like to avoid confusion. 勝子 光森 ~

Personality:

She's dominant, a heavy drinker, dislikes bullies, but tends to give in to her desires despite practicing her
spirituality and meditating. She enjoys domming, and controlling those who get on her bad side, and the more she
drinks more spirit power she gets. She's more tame as an Oni though thanks to her "father", with a higher sense
of morality.

Though if there's a helpless person out in the wilderness and she's hungry, well, sucks for them~
