History
Ouila is a somewhat strange being, born in relative isolation in the wilderness. She is able to take different shapes as she pleases and enjoys emulating the various solid creatures she encounters. She has a bit of trouble maintaining a tall, narrow shape like a humanoid and generally sticks to wider forms, but she is always practicing!

She finds solid life forms fascinating, and often will not hesitate to emulate or engulf one just to see what it is like. Needing to consume a fair amount of organic matter to sustain herself, she's learned many ways of surprising or luring other creatures, whether it be blending in, or making herself attractive. She'd much rather make a friend then eat someone, but she does need to eat!
Personality
Ouila is very curious, spending a lot of her time looking for new people or creatures to watch, practicing emulating their forms. She generally prefers to watch from a distance though, out of a mix of shyness and knowing that there's a fair chance her hunger would get the better of her.

Her form requires a lot of food to retain its solidity, especially in the heat and when food is short she has learned to emulate forms that humanoids would find very attractive, seducing them into her grasp.
Abilities
Ouila can take the shape of anything she's familiar with, though it generally takes a fair amount of visual study or a quick envelopment of something to learn a new form. Her mass is also limited by how much she has eaten, able to take on larger and more complex forms using the mass she absorbs or able to do little more than be a puddle if she hasn't been able to eat.

She can alter her solidity as needed, becoming fluid enough to move through pipes and small openings, or dense enough to pass for a normal creature at least by touch. This also allows her to trade size for solidity and vice versa, making herself taller and more liquid or smaller but hardened for example.

Her body can absorb water on contact, using it as a source of mass, but generally only doing that in a dire situation or for a quick boost, as the mass gained from water doesn't last very long.
