Oums

Assuredly, Oums is a bat. Daring and dreadful creatures that haunt the night sky, soaring about with wings outspread
to strike wonder and unease in the souls of their watchers.

Do not despair, however. They may not be at all as terrifying as they seem.

Oums sports a dark brown body of soft, silky fur just a breath away from being fluffy, similar covering for her
lightly muscled limbs, and strong elegant feet with clawed digits adept for grasping. Her wings are leathery and
nearly black with a wingspan of almost ten feet, and the muscle and bone of the bat inside them, while weak, seem
to give her an adequate grip.


The bat's mouth is a deep brown and gently ridged to help her swallow, a sleek wet tongue long enough to wrap
her own muzzle twice before it's fully extended resting inside. Her black eyes are level on her face, and long twitching
ears are set above, helping her to emote.


Though the six-foot imposing figure may seem scary, Oums is friendly, if a bit strange. She is, of course, a fruit bat,
and only small fangs rest in her teeth to prove it. Her taste for fruit is reasonable; it is the only thing that her
system can digest. Her taste for other living beings is something she picked up after an interesting experience
ingesting a mouse that was eating a mango. After all, just because she can't digest something doesn't mean she
doesn't like the taste...
