Outlaw_Sarah

Dead or Alive

That is what many will see above the face of this young girl. Sarah, the outlaw, with a bounty over her head that could turn a peasant into a king overnight. But she wasn't always one of the most wanted criminals in five different realms, no...she was once just a normal girl...a girl who was beat down at every turn.

Born in a small town called Carcel, she grew up as the rest of the girls did, under the thumb of the gang that basically ran the town, the Mortel gang. And their leader, Ed Mortel, would often visit with the girls of the town once he decided they were old enough for his likings. Anyone that fought back got a bullet through the skull from one of his human lackies, or was sent down the gullet of one of his monsters. No one dared to stand up to him after what he did tot he mayor of that town, who's remains were sent down the sewers the day after Ed took control. And Ed seemed to take a liking to Sarah the most. He often said it was because of her pretty blue eyes...

Sarah wanted nothing more than to be free, and to have the power to take down this gang...and so every night she would pray for something, anything that could save her...and one night...somehing amazing happenned. A she sat beside her bed, praying for the thousandth time after Ed had visited her home and left, she saw something in the sky....a glimmer...a star....a METEOR! It was headed straight for the ton, but no one but her seemed to notice it! In fact, it was heading right for her house! It crashed through her wall and onto her bed, and at first she was too afraid to look...but when she did, what she saw amazed her...

A gun. A small thing by the standards of most, it looked like the greatest weapon that Sarah had ever seen in the moment she laid eyes on it. Because she knew with this, maybe she had a shot, maybe she had a chance! So she reached out and touched it...and instantly, all fear left her body, replaced by something...a need, a desire. She wanted to use this weapon...and come daylight, she would get her chance.

She slept with the gun clutched to her chest, and as the first rays of morning light shone through her window, and the hole in her wall, Sarah awoke. She was suprised at what she saw in the mirror. She looked...felt..more powerful than before. Additionally, one of her eyes had turned to a brilliant violet. As she looked at herself, she knew. She had the strength to fight back now. And the tool that would help her win. And so, she picked up her gun...and went out the door. The first monster she saw was Ed's second in command, a draconic man with armored scales. She didn't even hesitate. One shot between the eyes and he went down. His armor didn't stand a chance against the gun she held. It seemed to fire high impact rounds of some kind, which made her smile...then...she began her spree.

Gang member after gang member, none stood a chance as she gunned them down, each one with a single shot. She had never before held a gun in her life, yet she was shooting like a marksman forged in fire. She couldn't explain it, and she didn't care. She barely even noticed when she shot Ed through the face, but...for some reason, the desire didn't stop there. Of course. The townspeople had done nothing to help her, nothing to stand up for themselves. She turned her gun on them next. Such a strange thing, she thought, her weapon seemed to fire more ammunition than it should be able to hold. She thought about this...as she left the small town, now devoid of all life, and filled with corpses...

And now, she travels the lands, gunning down people for cash, and happily riding through as though nothing had happenned. Of course, it wasn't long before her face was on a wanted sign. The Outlaw known only as One Shot, since that's all it ever took for her to bring someone down.
