Pamela Armstrong, the Veiled Paladin

BIO: Pamela is a Paladin, a high-ranking adventurer, and also a local hero. But for all intents and purposes, she is also a bit of a bully. She is constantly trying to express displays of dominance over her peers and lesser adventurers, taking advantage of her strength to constantly accept difficult commissions and harass others. But what if I told you that this behavior is rooted from a deep fear?

Years ago, her family made their disapproval of her becoming an adventurer very clear. In a world filled with powerful demihumans and monsters, they saw her as someone weak who wouldn't survive the cold and harsh battlefield, ending up simply as someone else's dinner. And so, they constantly berated her and attempted to convince her to follow a safer career path. One night, while Pamela was in a depressed state, she prayed at the God of Mercy's altar and begged for some kind of escape from her abusive family. And much to her surprise, the God of Mercy answered.

She was blessed with the Scion's Will ability, which allowed her to sacrifice part of her life force (measured in Life Points, or LP) to give herself new skills out of thin air, bestow those custom skills onto others, or edit skills. The only way to prevent her life force to be fully drained was to partake in actions that would translate into her "enjoying life", such as satisfying monetary/material desires, eating delicious food, indulge in intimate interactions that would pleasure her, among other desires. With her new powers, Pamela fled her family and her home country in order to become what she always wanted to be: a powerful adventurer that would prove humanity is a powerful race worthy of respect, despite what others might think.

Despite this, the constant abuse from her authoritarian family has left her with a crippling inferiority complex, and her method of coping is to constantly dominate and assert herself over others. Despite all of this, she still secretly craves a family and friends who would treat her with the love she was deprived of. Will you become just another victim of her stunts, or will you be able to unveil her true personality and give her the comfort she desires?

OOC Note: This character is not strictly for Fantasy/Medieval settings. She can be adapted into Modern, Sci-Fi, and most other settings out there. If you have an idea, please don't hesitate to share it!
