Short info
________

Patience is a woman that was born slow to age. Even though she is not actually a child, her body still has yet to develop further than a child's would.

Unlike a child, she has a mature mind. She is even fully educated, not having been held back just because she looked too young to be considered for middle or high school. She had a perfectly good mind that was not hampered by her curse/blessing of slow aging.

Her physical abilities were not affected either. Once she figured out how to do something, she could do it, the same as a normal adult, minus the activities that called for her to be taller.

Regardless of this all, one might wonder what this means for vore, of all things. It's plain to see that she is just a mere human, normal in many ways, except the obvious. Unless something happens to change this in the future, she is not built to eat others, so she can't really do much, other than defend against a predator by running away or trying to beat them up...

Or well, that WOULD have been true before 8/11/2015. Kino has been helping the little thing grow an ability to pred. Thanks to his Alchemy, Patty now has the ability to eat prey many times her own size, so long as said prey isn't even so much as a semi-giantess! Beware of this~.

So that is the short version about the girl... but what about the whole story?

Full History
_________

Birth

Not many actually know what it's like to actually age slower than everyone around you. Most can't even imagine being a baby for 8 years. All are shocked when one tells them that they were in the womb for several years before.

If one were to count those years of Patience's life, she would have to say that she is 31 years old instead of 28. Imagine what it would be like to suddenly gain your consciousness inside the womb, yet instead of the first thing you remember being something like your first face or your first word, you see a dimly lit flesh wall from within your embryonic prison.

Do you scream? Do you cry? Without the knowledge of such things, your left to ponder that, barely able to think.

When your being given birth to, you learn what it is to panic, having known only the inside of your mother's womb as home. In a surprisingly uncomfortable and agonizing 30 minutes of being pulled by white gloved hands and slowly feeling more and more cold air hit your little, wet body, you wind up introduced to the outside world, held by the two large hands that pulled you from your safety ball in your mother, attached to this huge thing with a masculine face obscured by a safety mask and some sort of blue cap, body wrapped by a doctor's coat. You try to squirm away from him, helpless to do so as he just holds you, seeming confused from what little of his face you can see. Your afraid. And suddenly, you learn to cry...

You bawl for what felt like hours, but was really just minutes. There are odd voices all around you, but what are they even saying? You don't know. You just don't want to be there. Suddenly, the doctor cuts your umbilical cord, making you panic as you see a part of you being separated from your body, a look of horror coming across your face and ceasing any crying.

Any weird voices around you turn to silence, probably replaced with faces of confusion or concern. One of the doctors says something, but at the time, you didn't understand the words. Now you know them to be, "Does she already have a conscience...?"

This is how Patience was born...

Childhood

Given how her birth occurred, it isn't surprising that Patience's actual childhood was spent shyly skirting around other children. She started out afraid of people, not truly understanding the world she'd been dropped into.

Kids called her the freak, or midget, or even "baby girl", because at the time, what she looked like was a toddler. As much as some children would call her these names and tell her she wasn't a normal girl and never would be, no one ever got physical with her. They were forbade of doing so and would be disciplined on the spot, because her parents and teachers thought her the most fragile, tiny little girl, even if her mind developed at a normal speed.

Not everyone was hateful to her, though. She had two friends. One was a boy named Todd. The other was a girl named Melody. These two usually protected her, even if, at first, she didn't understand why. They were her first friends and the ones that taught her what friends were.

"People who like each other and play together! They also stand up for each other and keep each other happy, sometimes doing stupid things so that they can stay friends, too." Todd said. "If that means taking a few names, that's alright. I know your a good person. Better than anyone who would call you all those mean things."

As one would expect, she became very close to these two, even if she was still afraid to play like normal children would. She was told that she was fragile. That she needed to keep herself safe. That meant that her parents didn't trust others' kids to play nice with her.

...That didn't make them right on both accounts, though. Despite patience having a small, seemingly frail body, she soon learned, after getting into a fight with one girl over all the names she called her, that she was just as strong as any other child. All started when she said that her parents would rather her die than put up with her weakness. She won that fight, one would argue, with how she had the girl backing into a corner and desperately apologizing with a black eye. Patience had finally discovered her anger, even if it made her feel dirty...

She got in trouble for it, but it also showed people that she wasn't as frail as they all thought her to be. Even Todd and Melody had no idea she could be tough like that. Anyone who's known a bullied child knows this. Pick on the kid enough and you risk letting out one hell of a caged animal. Fortunately, with Patience, it happened so early in her life...

Upon getting home that same day, though, she asked her parents if they really loved her... The girl from school had won in that way. She put doubt in Patience's head. She just didn't believe, after everything she'd said, that her parents really loved her. She figured she was a burden...

However, thankfully, they were able to convince her otherwise, after a few days. In those few days, they'd taken off from work and let her stay home from school, taking her places and giving her gifts that expressed exactly how much they loved their only baby. "Never let that little girl's or any other child's words make you believe we don't love you, Patience. We love you more than the moon in the sky. If you weren't in our lives, I don't think we would know what to do with ourselves. So never let someone tell you we don't love you, baby." Those were her mother's words to her, at the end of it all.

Patience knew what happiness was, but this was a step above any she had ever felt. It was pure joy. She could say with out a doubt, that she loved her parents...

High School

This part of her life was especially eventful, in the good way. She'd made many friends in her high school life. Not only that, but she had joined a few clubs, finally coming out of her tightly woven shell. These clubs ranged from athletic to artistic, even delving into a cooking class at one time, even if she didn't stay in it, due to the stove being so much taller than her.

It may seem odd that she joined athletic groups, but the truth is that she could do just as much as any of the other athletes, so long as it didn't depend on her size. Her body might have been underdeveloped, but for some reason, she possessed the same strengths that any teenager had at her age, plus the extra perks of having such a youthful body.

This surprised the staff at school. Human science clearly didn't support such things as this, making it very odd that she was able to do all of these things, even with such a body. Yet, even though it was outstanding to see someone with her body able to do these things, it didn't mean she was super human. It just meant that she had the same abilities as anyone her age. Outstanding, yes. She may even hold an edge over others for stamina. Yet, It didn't make her some super heroine or some weird non-sense like that.

That didn't stop people from giving her nicknames like the "Super Youth" or "Little Miss Hercules" or just simply "The Kid". Who knows what sort of strength she'll have when her body catches up with her. It may be even greater. Though, it could also stay the same. No one knows with how odd she must seem already with such a little, frail-looking body and so much strength.

Even though she had grown more popular, she didn't care much for crowds, sticking closely around Todd and Melody.

One would expect her to have used this new found popularity to pick up a boyfriend, or a girlfriend, if she was that way. However, oddly, she didn't have much interest in gaining a serious relationship with anyone like that. She much rathered her life remaining simple, for the time being. She couldn't even imagine having a relationship, being the way she was.

"It's too complicated. Everything about me, I mean. Dating would just be weird.", she told Melody. For her, this was not surprising, being that she had a child's body that was still underdeveloped, even for a child. Romance may never happen for her, because of her lack of interest. And really, no one ever said that it had to happen so soon, even if at all.

Adulthood

Adulthood is a silly term when one takes a look at her now "fully developed" child body. However, the law clearly states that the only requisite for being an adult is to be 18 or older.

Patience, at this point in her life, had not slowed down just because she was now 18 years old and graduated. In fact, she might have even sped up, if anything. She'd gotten a job at a local store as a cashier for a year or so while she was trying to figure out the perfect career for herself.

When she found out that she was a highly skilled writer, she started to practice up on her skills as one, hoping to become one of the best. She thinks she has a long way to go. However, her skills then would have rivaled the top authors of her generation. After all, she could make up an interesting story idea by just joking around with her friends.

Fast-forward a few more years and she has written so much that she actually filled 13 full journals/diaries. She doesn't show these to anyone, however, so no one knows of her talent... Unless, of course, one were to discover her online writer's alias. Said alias has produced 15 stories of at least 4 stars and no less. By then, she was 25 and had gotten a better job. She had even moved into an apartment with her two best friends from school, the same Todd and Melody, whom had started dating.

She doesn't mind their little thing together, even to this day. One might say, she was still uninterested in love, even if she had written out stories that had romance in them. She finds herself more into fantasy than anything else. Melody and Todd unknowingly love her stories from her secret alias on the internet. Interestingly enough, those stories are what finally brought them together as a couple.

Patience knows this, but she is firm in keeping her identity a secret. If and when they ever find out, it will be quite interesting, indeed. Sadly, for now, they remain hopelessly unaware. Maybe that's because they're always sucking each other's face.

"Oh, the wonders of romance~. I wish I understood why thee were so... noisy.", Patience mused, jokingly, with a giggle.

Personality
_________

Patience is a very hard individual to figure out, if you haven't grown up with her.

Anyone who was her friend in school will tell you that she was a quirky and playful girl. She was funny, generous, smart, energetic and seemed to have an odd like of pickles. More specifically, dill pickle spears.

The current "woman" is much the same, only much smarter. Part of her knowledge has come from her long history as a writer. Another part comes from her job experiences.

She has been around enough people that she is able to read them like books. She can guess what a person is like by just hearing them talk for a few minutes... and not be the one that their talking to.

She is probably one of the sharpest tools in the shed, finely honed and kept shining bright as the day it was first made.

However, even then, she has faults. Even though she mostly does, she feels like she does NOT understand romance enough. She likes to write out a couple's time together, but actually being with someone? She just can not see that happening any time in the near future. Love is one complex communicator.

One thing. Don't call her a child, kid or anything of the sort. She is sensitive about her body. She has been known to go off about this one thing if it is picked at for too long.

Bet you guys are a bit curious as to what Todd and Melody are like, huh?

Say no more.

Yuki_Suzuki <3 This little "adult" is the cutest, brainiest girl you can have around. She's a great friend and help to a writer who doesn't get to tell many who she really is. They share ideas every now and then!

Never/Dislike After getting into a friend's potion cabinet, Patience has gained the ability to pred. And not only upon prey her size either. In fact, she tends to favor going after much larger prey.

This doesn't mean that she can't be eaten, however. Not by a long shot. Her size still causes issues. And I still prefer to play her as a "normal" human
