Background:
The daughter of Jasmine Wesper, more infamously known as Ms_Whisper, Persephoni is the child promised to a great serpent called Styxx as her mother's payment in a deal that granted her a return to the world above. Persephoni was like a rose cursed to live as a weed in an otherwise lifeless garden She inherited wonderful traits from her human mother and traits that she was not so fond of from her father. She had her mother's gentleness and love in abundance but none of her beauty, unfortunately. No, sadly she was a monster - a giant serpent - just like her father Styxx, to her sore dismay. Somehow the girl couldn't accept this fate; she refused to believe she belonged in such a monstrous form, and hellish environment.
Persephoni was raised amongst countless savage demons that populated the Underworld under the rulership of Magnus_Bludrein, the King of Trelosi. She groaned in agony, longing for an escape through the years but was unable to see a way out. That is, until she entered her teen years and was at the height of her distress. It was then that Persephoni sought the aid of a powerful sorceress; of whom it was rumored had the ability to make the serpent girl human and send her to the world above. The sorceress was hard to find but determination paid off for the desperate Persephoni. She met the cloaked sorceress and received a potion that transformed her upper half into that of a human. It was a step in the right direction but it wasn't the full transformation that the serpent girl wanted. The secretive sorceress told Persephoni that she would send her to the upper world as she was, and if the serpent tailed girl managed to capture a certain Succubus by the name of Suerta_Bludrein then she would complete the transformation when her target is brought back. Persephoni agreed to take the job and she was whisked off to our world. The sorceress removed her cloak once she was sure no one was nearby, revealing herself to be none other than Queen Divina_Bludrein.
Weeks after beginning her search, Persephoni became acquainted with a human girl her age named Bella and she all but forgot about her mission when they hung out. Here she had a chance to befriend a human and learn what it's like to be human. She even began lurking about around the church that Bella attended and she wound up becoming a professing Christian. Persephoni was beginning to find happiness at last, even if she wasn't completely human. But trouble came one night when her father Styxx tracked her down and confronted her about her sneaking away and her deal with a sorceress. There was going to be hell to pay. While Styxx couldn't drag his daughter back the Underworld, he could place a curse mark on Persephoni that gave the great serpent the ability to influence her thoughts and desires. Like a marionette on strings, Persephoni's fight against the control of Styxx was almost futile.
Soon, the humans that she had been getting to know were looking more appetizing than ever, and before long she could no longer resist the urge to devour them. When Bella discovered what Persephoni had done to a number of her townsfolk, she rebuked her. Her anger quickly subsided however as she found that no one could have been more devastated than Persephoni; the serpentine girl was sobbing and pouring her heart out, begging forgiveness from Bella, God, and the souls she had devoured in her weakness. Bella not only forgave Persephoni but she assured her that God forgave her as well. She then told Persephoni that things would sadly never be the same there because she couldn't guarantee that everyone would forgive her - it was time to move on and resume her mission. Persephoni understood and she left the town with a heavy heart. Though she didn't say it, the serpentine girl felt her journey would have been too difficult to continue alone. Fortunately for her, Bella knew this without it being said and she caught up to Persephoni and announced that she was coming along with her. Since that time, Persephoni's will has strengthened against Styxx' influence but she can still falter at times, especially when Bella isn't around.

Personality:
Sweet and gentle until mishandled; like a rose, Persephoni has her thorns. She has found a great measure of peace in her new faith and strength against Styxx's influence. Having a new appreciation for life and a fondness for nearly all living creatures, she tries desperately to be a vegetarian but she fails hard oh so often. It's almost comical, and maybe even a bit painful, to watch her try and resist eating meat. She can resist the temptation on day's when she's feeling positive and full of grace, but when saddened or otherwise irritated she cracks under the pressure to give in to her predatory nature.

OOC Comments:
I think it would be fun enough to simply see how this character interacts with others, and I'll most likely be trying her out in public RP's. She'll be unwilling to devour anyone more often than not but if I'm in the mood I might have her give in to her predatory instincts.
