Bio: Petrafina or Petra for short was born in a modern time's where all kind of creatures exist along side humans and each other. She was born to a lamia and a medusa naga. Some would say that the two could have never been able to date the other.

But somehow the two managed to not only date but marry one another and lived happily together for about six years before Petra was born. When Petra hatched both her lamia father and her medusa mother noticed that she had a medusa birthmark tattoo between her shoulders blades.

It was not known till Petra was five what the mark meant when she looked into someone's eyes and was turned to stone for three hours. After she had turned back her parents would look into the mark on her back only to find out that she was cursed with a reversed version of the medusa stare and would be triggered every time she looked into someone's eyes.

Thus she was taught to never look anyone in the eyes and told it was because of her medusa blood, but she was never told about her curse until middle school. It happened after class whens she was hanging out with her friends at her home when one of her friends dared her to look her in the eyes. At the moment she looked into her friend's eyes she would feel a painful numbing feeling from deep with in her chest as she was turned into stone.

All but the friend who dared her freaked out and ran away the one who did not run away went to get her parents and was then told with Petra when she returned to life about her curse. She has since lived with the possibility of being painfully turned to stone when looking people in the eyes.
