So, I found this awesome picture of someone else's petrified wood gemsona. I don't claim the picture, but it is rocking! This gemsona is so close to what I was thinking. XD
Except, I wanted his gem on top of his foot.
And for me, his weapon is more defensive than offensive. He roots himself in place and creates a wall of spears and spikes like the ones in medieval times that would impale oncoming charging horses. He can move it around him and angle it toward an enemy, but can't move himself until after he removes the wall. So... he's basically a turret and damage shield.
He also has cleats that can come out of his lovely boots, so he can stand sideways on buildings and trees and things.
And his fusion dance is tap dancing. And yes, he can tap dance on a wall.
(And I do tap dance IRL. Irish time step and cramp rolling are my favorite.)
