Fairies, what do we know about them? Well, most people know that they are friendly cheerful and bubbly tiny folks with wings and all that stuff, they perform magic, all about them is just nice and sparkling with fairy dust, of course some people know that they are somehow bound to nature what is the reason for most fairies to live in the woods or apart from society in general, avoiding humans pretty well that way so that there are little known facts, some people even decline their existence. Nobody of course would admit that he saw a small flying human in case they met one of the rather shy folk. About two hundred years ago Phyx was one of those shy bubbly creatures, she wasn’t very shy towards humans and secretly met a few of their children to play with them and even a couple of adults knew about her being more than a product of their fantasy.

True is that most fairies are somehow bound to nature, more specific to the woods they are born in. Never thought about how fairies come to being? Well it’s not like humans or other animals, of course they look human and they even can get pregnant but the child of a fairy is most likely a normal human possibly a micro but surely with some magic abilities. Most magicians that live secretly among humans don’t give too much about fairy magic though, since most of the time they just use minor illusion spells to disguise themselves or of course the more difficult but still not too complex growth or shrinking spells. What the magicians never got to know though since the fairies mostly keep it as a secret is, that their magic potential is far above the human level. But ever since the days of the first magic using humans the fairies decided that only their kind should know about the elemental spells they can perform using the earth’s pure energy, the energy of every living thing around them to cast spells that could erase cities or rip a whole continent apart as happened in ancient times during the fairy wars or of course to sink Atlantis, what was the last big intervention in human development, people just weren’t ready for electricity and the resulting technologies those days.

There were never as many fairies as there were humans, nobody, even in our days truly knows how fairies really die, they just seem to vanish, but in fact is related to how they come to being. A fairy is born out of nature itself, they come to existence when nature thinks it needs a voice and a body making the fairies messengers to the humans as guardians of nature, they told them where they could chop down wood if necessary, where to go fishing and what sort of animals to hunt. Of course humans did rarely take that advice but still they were part of the nature themselves, so they could do little more than watch and feel the pain when a young tree got chopped down and many fairies got angry about it so they decided to form a council to decide about their duties and when they’d have to intervene. The fairy wars were the result of a split in the council with a group of fairies trying to convince the others to wipe out the humans, afraid of their increasing knowledge and stupidity the very same time, their common lack of being able to live among each other without fighting a war, but most of the council did vote against an intervention and despite the protests of the group further discussions were forbidden.

When the more peaceful members of the council demanded to have the group of agressors forbidden though, thinks escalated, jumping up the group felt insulted and they decided to quit the council where neither their opinion nor their bare existance were of importance, a few days later they started to kill engineers, people with knowledge of technique and some of the people that were having the money to supply those inventions that were destroying nature. At this point the council decided that they had no choice but to fight the fairies themselfes in order to stop them and the war started, for the first time fairies were fighting fairies, it was terrible and everyone had to choose wether she was pro human or against them. In the end the pro human fraction won but it wasn't more than a small number that was left and survived the terrible eat or be eaten war.
It weren't enough of them to be the overall present voice of nature and a few years later humans were totally breaking free from the tiny creature's advice and they retreated into the woods the council never met again since they had realized that the protesting fairies had been right about what they warned them from.

Phyx was born in these times, luckily in an area far away from the troubles of pollution that was later known for one of human's greates failures, she was living in the woods near a town that would later be known all over the world... Chernobyl. In the first decades of her life she was living peacefully in her woods, playing with the village's children, giving them advice and guidance as a fairy was supposed to do.

Then the catastrophe happened and she snapped, as the nature around her she was infested mutated and gone completely nuts. She swore death to all humans to cross her path, not even children did get her mercy from that day on, seducing them teasing them just to shatter their dreams a moment later she strongly relies on the illusion of being a nice cuddly fairy just to see her victim's eyes widening in disbelief as she has her way with them. But not only humans did get to feel her wrath, over the years she pretty much killed devoured and humilated every creature crossing her way just for the sheer fun of it, not even other fairies are safe from her.
