Tessa is a pirate of the Flying Mermaid, sailing with
Captain_Prescott.
Tessa started life as a tavern wench, a barmaid and occasional whore. When the Flying Mermaid came into her sleepy port town, she was immediately swept off her feet by the Captain's dashing personality, and the romance of a life at sea had always been appealing to her. She promptly told her employer where to stick his unwanted night time advances, and when he threatened to refuse to pay her final wages, she set fire to the tavern, after tying him to a chair inside. She marched up to the gangplank of the Flying Mermaid, and demanded to not only be given a berth, but that it be with the Captain. Amused, Captain Prescott took her to bed, intending to have her fun and dump the feisty redhead at the next port.
That was five years ago. Tessa is now as close to a spouse as the Captain has ever had, and those who encounter her would be wise to remember her position so close to the Captain's ear. She is catty and possessive, ruthlessly jealous and protective of her comfy position of such luxury without much in the way of actual work required. Tessa and the Captain are far from monogamous, but the young redhead is always vigilant to make sure that none of her lover's new consorts stick around for too long.... one way or another...
