Meet Novis, a delivery driver for Speedy Pizza, a greasy pizza restaurant in the heart of the city.
Nocturnal by nature, Novis approaches life with a sleepy, laid-back attitude. He works a low-paying job at a mediocre pizza restaurant as a delivery driver. A lot of pizzas don't arrive intact at their destination, due to the bat's insatiable appetite. Customers who complain, or those who tip poorly, tend to be next on the menu. The bat's swift metabolism can make short work prey about as easily as an extra-large pizza.
While customers are bound to object to get eaten, Novis has a trick up his sleeve. Rather than a vampiric bite, a quick nibble from Novis can inject his prey with a powerful, paralyzing toxin. Affected prey are near helpless after one quick nip, leaving the bat to take his time teasing and devouring his less-than-willing prey. Countless rude or just plain unlucky customers have met their end in the bat's gut, churning around in the pizza they'd ordered.
