Most Islands within the Archipelago tend to be rather focused on certain types of pokemon, certain locations attracting certain types... making it somewhat easier to go looking if you were after a specific species!
~Entra~
Entra Island - The entrance to the Archipelago, Entra Island is a rather peaceful environment, the island lacking a gym, but has other useful features to trainers, be they newcomers or experienced already.
Entra City - A peaceful, quiet place, Entra City is a rather plain place, the main feature being the Labs, owned by Professor Hazel. Entra City proves to be a relaxing, welcoming place for many trainers to start on their adventure.
Entra Labs - The laboratory of the leading Pokemon Professor in the region, Professor Hazel. As an experienced Professor, she tends to the same duties many do in other regions, as a guide to both experienced and inexperienced trainers, along with handing out Starter Pokemon.
~Sokia~
Sokia Island - Aptly called an island paradise, the island of Sokia is small, yet luxurious, possessing clean, bright beaches, sunny weather, and a very tropical environment. The island itself is often visited, both by those simply wishing for an enjoyable vacation spot, and those attempting to defeat all eight Gyms.
Sokia City - The city itself is somewhat small, but certainly extravagent and wealthy, possessing fancy hotels, a multitude of stores, a Gym for aspiring Champions, and the Marina, the city having thrown itself into its tourist appeal to garner its wealth.
Sokia Gym - The Water-Type Gym of the region, the leader is a rather cheery, friendly woman, fitting in with the open, welcoming tourist city... though, of course, she certainly won't take it easy on any challengers!
Sokia Marina - Possibly the most notable part of the island, the Marina is a large seaside attraction, featuring a huge variety of water-types, on display to the public, along with a submarine tour of the ocean depths around the island.
~Barii~
Barii Town - A sizable structure built around the Distortion Whirlpool, as a measure to prevent anyone from accidentally straying too close to the dangerous anomaly. It is an artifical island holding a small town, linked to an immense wall constructed around the Whirlpool, with the only entrance being through the town itself, with permission from the guards.
Distortion Whirlpool - A strange spot in the seas around the islands, a small, extremely powerful whirlpool appeared one night, and has been a heavily-studied phenomenon ever since. Its origins are unknown, but any attempt to send a search party within has resulted in the party winding up elsewhere, unconscious, and unable to recall what occured within the oddity. The whirlpool has since been sealed off, only accessible to those who can prove they have the power to potentially withstand whatever awaits.
~Khaul~
Khaul Island - Khaul Island is a somewhat large piece of the Archipelago, holding not just a city, but a sizable volcano as well, where all sorts of fire-type pokemon enjoy their time. The Khaul Gym is a popular feature of the island, the fire-type leader herself eager to face trainers. Another feature is the Volcano Tour, where trainers are guided through the safer parts of the Volcano.
Khaul City - A rather small city, the majority of inhabitants sharing the same passionate, fire-loving personality as their Leader, along with a focus on friendly competition... unlike the legendary Draci Island, which has a far more... aggressive means of competition.
Khaul Gym - A fire-focused gym, the leader being quite the spirited, competitive woman, incredibly eager to battle other trainers... going as far as to often to wandering around town, issuing challenges.
Khaul Volcano - A rather large volcano, and one of the most prominent aspects of the island. Many fire-type pokemon tend to dwell, along with rumours of some incredibly powerful beings, lurking around the deepest, hottest parts.
~Frazi~
Frazi Island - An island covered in snow, the surrounding ocean partially frozen, it is home to quite a number of ice-types, all of whom have contributed to the icy climate, with the only city of the frozen place being rather enclosed and insulated, leaving the icy pokemon to roam freely outside.
Frazi City - An enclosed city, with rather thick, insulated buildings to keep out the cold. Fire-types are popular here, if only to fend of the frigid environment... though ice-types are just as popular amongst those who embrace the freezing conditions. A popular spot for visitors is the equipment shop, selling gear for trekking through the ice, to reach the famous Frazi Mountain.
Frazi Gym - The ice-type Gym of the Archipelago, home to a peaceful, serene Leader. Naturally a specialist in ice-types, the Gym is rather cold, the arena itself entirely frozen... leaving it a bit difficult for unaccustomed pokemon to get a good footing on the ice!
Frazi Mountain Climb - A somewhat steep, frozen mountain on Frazi Island, it has a winding pathway to the peak, one buffeted by vicious snowstorms, likely the fault of the Abomasnow that make the mountain their home. A Trainer must be on their guard on the mountain, as the blizzards make it hard to see, especially if a sneaky pokemon was planning an ambush!
Frozen Caverns - A set of caverns, deep underground, naturally formed underneath the mountain. A number of pokemon live down here, ice-types and rock-types, with small quakes often shaking the caverns, as Onix and Steelix dig their way through to expand the place. While the early tunells are the only ones that tend to be explored by humans, there are deeper paths to tred... ones that likely lead to some rare pokemon, indeed!
~Orien~
Orien Island - A rather large island, possessing two cities rather than the usual one, this island is home to Mt. Orien, an immense mountain, with vast resources of ore in the depths of the earth below it. As such, the primary pokemon on this island are steel-types and flying-types, though rock-types and ground-types are also common.
Orien Mines - The mineshafts used by the miners of Rukke City to delve through the ore-rich depths of the island, digging up vast quantities of useful ore. Parts of the mines are open to visitors, both so trainers can battle the variety of pokemon in the mines, and to enter the recently-excavated Ancient Ruins.
Mt. Orien - The famous mountain of Orien Island, with height nearly rivalling that of Sinnoh's Mt. Coronet, the area is often swarmed with flying-types, taking advantage of the immense mountain to build nests and homes for themselves. The mountain is often visited by tourists to hopefully catch a powerful flying-type, and to attempt to spot the Sky-High Sanctuary, hovering far above the peak.
Sky-High Sanctuary - A rather unknown point of the Archipelago, the Sky-High Sanctuary is a mysterious, floating area far above Mt. Orien. Any attempt to land on the Sanctuary has been rebuffed by violent, powerful winds, it being evident that anyone attempting to reach the place would need a truly powerful flier to get through the hurricane surrounding it.
Ancient Ruins - A recently-excavated find, initially burrowed into by a small group of mining Excadrill, it quickly turned into the archeological find of the decade. While the upper areas are well-mapped, it has proved difficult to breach the lower levels of the ruins, as the deeper down you go, the more powerful the Pokemon become. Anyone attempting to breach the lowest levels of the ruins must be prepared to endure extremely powerful pokemon!
Rukke City - A city located at the base of the mountain, with the heavy focus of the city being mining. The mines are easily accessible from the city, and training there can be quite the practise for the local Gym. The locals of the city tend to be rather focused on ores and their pokemon, though this knowledge might come in handy, if you were to hear something useful.
Rukke Gym - The rock-type Gym of the Archipelago, it is an underground arena, deep and rocky, a perfect place for the rather isolated Leader. While often keeping to herself and her studies, she's always happy to indulge an opponent!
Airee City - This city sits a fair distance from Rukke City, on the side of the towering mountain of the region. Like Rukke City specializes in mining and rock-type pokemon, Airee City has a focus on mountainside work, and flying-type pokemon. They tend to investigate the conditions of the mountaintops, along with the mysterious place, floating far above them.
Airee Gym - Unlike Rukke Gym's cramped, underground Gym, this Gym is an open, aerial place, with trainers either needing agile pokemon or flight-capable pokemon to keep up with some of the trainers here! The Leader herself is a master of flying-types, and... possibly loves them a bit too much, focusing on anyone who could show her a powerful representative of her favourite typing.
~Psiic~
Psiic Island - A small, somewhat quiet island in the Archipelago, home to quite a number of psychic-type pokemon. While not the most popular place, due to lacking a gym, it still gets some attention from Trainers seeking to enter the popular Psiic Mansion!
Psiic Town - A small, peaceful town in the midst of the psychic-type island, it is home to a number of trainers and psychics, mostly for the purpose of relaxation and trying to capture a few rare pokemon. Lacking in a Gym, the island avoids the general rush of trainers, leaving it a rather unknown place.
Psiic Mansion - The mansion of the island, filled with a number of trainers seeking battles or trades. It is often referred to as the Pokemon Club, a rather relaxing, enjoyable place to chat and meet people... although, while basic membership is free to all, getting to higher ranks in the club is rather challenging.
~Elica~
Elica Island - An island, home to electric-types... with a rather obvious reason for such a thing, with the Lightning Fields on the landmass! It is quite a popular place for trainers to visit, particularly the thriving city... although many trainers will have to look out for the local electric-types, a few having a fondness for robbing trainers, making off with a few valuables!
Elica City - Holding a rather thriving technological focus, Elica City is rather popular with trainers all around, working on a number of products, such as upgrades to the Poketch, the Pokenav, fossil-revival technologies, and a number of other useful inventions for trainers, especially those willing to make the trip to the island itself!
Elica Gym - Home to a cheery inventor, the electric-type Gym is rather popular in the region. The Leader is also the head of the electronics lab, and if not in the Gym, can often be found there, having lost track of time with her work. The arena is rather simple, without much advantages for either side.
Lightning Fields - The fields around the Power Plant have attracted many electric-type Pokemon... or, more specifically, the sheer number of electric-types was what attracted the Power Plant. While it is believed that some strange, electrical disturbances caused the mass migration of electric-types to the island, the sheer number of electric types on the land now make it impossible to pinpoint just where this disturbance is.
Power Plant - Odd electrical energies caused the building of a Power Plant to manage them, tapping into the natural electric surges to send power across the entire Archipelago! While the majority of the plant is perfectly safe, some areas do attract the attention of electric pokemon looking to energize, with some people even claiming to have seen the legendary Zapdos!
~Daiul~
Daiul Island - A rather small island... at least at first sight. The actual majority of the island, and the city, is deep underground, in a dark cavern beneath the land! The pokemon of the island tend to be dark-types, enjoying the pitch-black depths, with the native trainers often simply setting up dim lights for navigation, to avoid upsetting the dark-loving pokemon.
Daiul City - A peaceful, darkened city deep within the island, it is home to a mix of humans and dark-type pokemon, the dark-types often enjoying simply wandering around the city, notably more so than other pokemon, who often prefer nature to human settlements, though the people don't seem to mind their company.
Daiul Gym - A rather normal, simple Gym, albiet dimly lit, is home to the Dark-type Leader herself. She tends to be a bit more actively aggressive than her fellow Leaders; while not exactly cruel, she enjoys defeating and dominating Trainers perhaps a bit too much.
Darkened Tunnels - The depths of the island are home to some truly confusing tunnels, dark and mazelike, some parts even flooded! Very few have explored the sheer depths of this place, with some people theorizing that some truly ancient and powerful pokemon might considering the frigid, watery depths home. Dark-types and water-types are common in the tunnels, and often react somewhat aggressively to intruders.
~Insii~
Insii Island - A rather nature-theme island, the entire landmass covered in a thick, vibrant forest, with a large variety of grass and bug type pokemon choosing to inhabit the place. The only human settlement is located inside the forest, making it a bit perilous for inexperienced trainers to attempt to breach it.
Insii Forest - The thick, sprawling forest that covers most of the island. The expansive woods hold a variety of pokemon, primarily the bug and grass types, along with a few rarities lurking in the woods, for only the luckiest of trainers to find!
Insii Town - A small town within the depths of Insii Forest. It is home to a small community, with few notable attractions beyond the usual! However, it is home to the Archipelago's bug-catching competition, a rahter popular event that draws in contestants quite often, leading to the tiny island having some degree of fame.
~Draci~
Draci Island - Often called the Gateway to the Pokemon League, the island is populated by trainers of one of the most powerful types of Pokemon: the dragon-type. Understandably, the islands are rarely visited by those without most of the badges, if only for the fact that the trainers of the island focus on strength, and won't take it easy on newcomers!
Draci City - A rather large city, heavily themed around the idea of battle! Possessing not only a gym, but the Battle Fortress as well, the island is clearly heavily centered around strength and skill, making it a suitable final location for trainers requiring the final badge for the Pokemon League!
Draci Gym - The Gym of the island, one unlike the rest. While other Leaders tend to augment their team and strength based on the badges their opponent owns, and the team they hold... the Leader of Draci Gym does not. She always uses her full strength, making it unwise for newcomers to attempt to challenge her. Her sheer power, along with the high requirements to appropriately combat her, makes it rather evident why the island is considered the final step before the League!
The Battle Fortress - Like the Frontiers, Maisons and Towers in various other regions, the Archipelago has its own variant: the Battle Fortress. Filled with truly powerful trainers, only those with extreme skill, endurance and strength can make it through. Of course, should someone successfully complete a part of the Fortress, they would be well rewarded!
Draci Fields - The expansive, arduous fields of Draci Islands. Many pokemon come here to prove their strength against each other, primarily the dragon and fighting types, with the fields being a rather unsafe location for all but the strongest of trainers in the region, considering the powerful battles that take place daily!
~Fanli~
Fanli Island - A large, expansive island holding the final step in every trainer's journey: the Pokemon League. Through Victory Road lies the League itself,
Harbi City - The entrance to Victory Road, simply holding a small community, along with a pokemon center to recover your pokemon before the final hurdle in every Trainer's journey to the Championship.
Victory Road - The famous final challenge before the League, the famed gauntlet all aspiring champions must endure. A long and difficult road lies ahead for all trainers, but with skill and endurance, the best can make it through!
Fanli City - The final place of rest before the Pokemon League. Fanli City holds an expansive Pokemon Center and Mart, along with various other facilities, both to help train and recover your pokemon. The city also sports a luxurious hotel. It is very clear that the League wants all competitors to be at their best!
Pokemon League - The ultimate goal of all trainers. Once you hold all eight badges, and have conquered Victory Road, you will be given the chance to face off against the Elite Four, and the Champion of the Archipelago. Only the very best can endure the back-to-back battles against the some of the most powerful trainers in the region!
