Daimon's sister has feelings for him that go beyond sibling ones. Incest will end up happening between them, just a heads up.

Story


One might think that since Daimon is a prince that he leads an easy and cushy life where he gets whatever he wants with no effort at all. That would not be the case, well Daimon could get anything he wanted just by saying so but that isn't the way Daimon likes to do things. It just isn't the way he grew up. Why Daimon likes to do things for himself is partly due to the way he grew up and partly just because it is the kind of person that he is.

Daimon didn't grow up with some kind of fairy tale prince life, not at all. At the age of six his castle was attacked by a group of bandits. The guards should have been able to easily defeat the bandits but for some reason they were getting bested. Daimon's father took up his sword and went out to fight as well. Even though he was only six years old Daimon picked up a knife and said he was going to help too. Much to his dislike his mother shoved him and his sister into a closet, then locked the door. Daimon knew in the back of his mind that it was to protect him and his sister but he wanted to help.

The day the bandits attacked would be the last time Daimon would see his mother and father alive. By the time everything had been settled and Daimon was let out of the closet his mother locked him in, it was already dark. The bandits had fled once things started to not go their way. However it was too late by that time the king and queen of Windbloom had already been killed. Daimon asked how his father had died and he was told by one of the few remaining servants that he had died a honorable death protecting his country and his queen. Daimon's sister asked how their mother was killed. She had died a honorable death as well, killed protecting the room that held the locked closet that her children were in.

A tragedy had befallen the kingdom of Windbloom and there was talk that the bandits were sent by the kingdom of Reina but there was not enough evidence to prove who had sent the bandits. Some just wanted to blame the kingdom of Reina because the kingdom of Windbloom did not get along with them and had been enemies with them for the past one hundred and fifty years. Daimon had no idea why his kingdom did not get along with the kingdom of Reina and there was no one able to tell him why either. Those that were old enough to know why could not remember. So since no one could tell Daimon why, he doesn't really hold any hate for the kingdom of Reina like the older folks do but instead dislikes them, seeing them as rivals and not enemies.

Even though a tragedy had befallen that kingdom of Windbloom there was no time to waste. Daimon and his sister were immediately put on the throne. The reason they both were put on the throne is because Daimon and his sister are twins. They aren't identical twins but they are still twins. Daimon's sister always liked to tease him that she was the older one because she was born thirty seconds before Daimon. It slightly annoys Daimon when she does this but he doesn't mind it as he know she means no harm by it.

After things had settled down Daimon decided he wanted to become a knight. He could have easily just been knighted on the spot but Daimon wanted to earn it. Daimon wanted to avenge his parent's death as well as protect those that could not protect themselves. Daimon's second reason for wanting to become a knight was because during the attack by bandits he lost many of the servants that were his friends. Daimon knew though he had long way to go to becoming a knight but began training with a sword with soldiers of the castle.

The tragedy on Windbloom castle had affected Daimon's personality a little but in a good way. He grew up to become an honorable and strong individual. He can be stubborn sometimes but he has a good and kind heart. Daimon is an intelligent and clever individual, which can make him quite the opponent. Though he does not just use these two things for just fighting but in almost everything he does. Daimon is also a little bit of a flirt and knows when someone is flirting with him. Daimon has a gentle spirit and would not harm any innocent person. Those that are bad people receive no compassion from Daimon unless they are able to stop what they are doing and change their ways. Daimon will try to convince someone with words to stop what they are doing and change their ways before he resorts to using his sword. If they do not stop their actions then Daimon has no choice but to make them stop. Daimon has a strong sense of justice and will do all he can to protect someone, especially those dear to him. He does this because he does not want to lose anyone important to him again.

Daimon doesn't like his princely duties all too much as he says they get in the way of him becoming a knight but he always will make time for his people. That is when he had them when he was living at the castle. Daimon seems to be popular with woman of all ages in his kingdom. This does not sit well with his sister because her feelings for her brother seem to be a little more than just what a sister should have. She seems to get jealous if another girl even talks to Daimon in front of her, let alone flirt with him or even more. However despite how intelligent Daimon is he seems to be oblivious to this and even his sisters possible slightly more than sisterly feelings for him. Daimon is extra protective of his sister though but despite how protective of her that he is, he loves and cares for her as just a sister.

Once Daimon finally turned eighteen he decided to enroll into a school that would finally help him to become a knight. Daimon enrolled into the Evergreen Royal Academy. In Daimon's case they had classes on how to become a proper prince as well as classes on how to become a proper knight. Since Daimon had already been a prince since the age of six he did not need to enroll into the prince classes and only enrolled in the knight classes. The school wanted him to take the prince classes but Daimon was being stubborn like his is sometimes and in the end he got his way.

Before leaving for the academy Daimon gave all his royal duties to his sister. Though he kept his title as prince since he is the next in line for the throne. She wasn't happy about this but she knew becoming a knight was very important to Daimon and she supported him fully. So since Daimon gave all his royal duties to his sister she was crowned as queen of Windbloom kingdom. When Daimon is at home he still has to give his say or at least his opinion in any decision that needs to be made concerning the kingdom as this was the only way his sister would agree to taking over fully. So Daimon basically still has his royal duties but only under certain circumstance, that being only when he is home. However even though he only has to do them when he is at home, Daimon still doesn't like his princely duties all too much but he truly does care for his people.

Daimon has more free time than some of the student at the Evergreen Royal Academy since he only taking the knight classes. He spends this time either practicing his swordsmanship or walking around the town near the school and seeing if he can help anywhere. During times that he has more time, like the weekend; Daimon will head over to his kingdom since it is near the school. He doesn't go home too often but enough to know that everything is alright and that his sister is doing well. The school is located in between the kingdoms of Reina and Windbloom but the school is neutral territory and fighting on its grounds is prohibited, not even royalty is exempt from the rule. Fighting is only allowed if it is required for the class like in the knight classes. This is allowed because it is of different circumstances as the students are sparring instead of fighting.

Since the school sits between the two kingdoms it has royalty from both kingdoms at it. It has sons and daughters of dukes, lords and all that such. Then there is Daimon, the prince of Windbloom whose face is recognized by everyone there. He can't go down the halls without getting either stopped by someone from his kingdom or glares from people from the kingdom of Reina. It is also because of this that Daimon decided to stay in an inn at the town next to the school instead of in one of the room's for the students that is on academy grounds. Even though Daimon gets stopped by people from his kingdom all the time he actually doesn't have a single friend at the academy. He isn't sure if this is because people are just too afraid to be friends with the prince of Windbloom kingdom out of fear of being attacked by someone from the Reina kingdom or if they are just to nervous to ask to be friends with Daimon. Whatever the case maybe, Daimon really would like some friends at the academy; even if it is only one person.

Daimon had heard a rumor that youngest Reina princesses was also at the academy and he wondered if she had the same problem. He did know that like himself she had lost her parents at a young age and her eldest sister currently held the throne. This meant Daimon had something in common with her but she was still from his rival kingdom and thus things would probably be hostile between them so he felt it best not to seek her out.

However this changed when Daimon changed to a knight class that worked better because the time that it was offered at was better for Damion he found that Reina's youngest princess Sophia was now in the same knight class as him, he had no idea Sophia was in this class but Daimon was stuck as the school told him he could not change classes again. The first day Daimon attended the new class the atmosphere was a heavy one but not from Daimon and Sophia but from everyone else. They were all on the edge of their seats about what the two were going to do. Damion just felt it was better to leave Sophia alone as he wasn't sure how she felt towards the Windbloom Kingdom. Whether it was like how Daimon feels towards the Reina kingdom, of that he dislikes them but does not hate them and views them more as rivals than as enemies. Or whether it was like the way most of the rest of the two kingdoms felt. Which most of the rest of the two kingdoms hate each other and over something that happened a century and a half ago that no one can even remember what it was.

Daimon is doing his best to become a proper knight just like he wants to be, it is not an easy task but he knows he can do it. He is technically already considered a knight but he wants to become a proper one and fulfill his two reasons why he wanted to become a knight in the first place. Even though Daimon's life had a rough start he has done his best to make the best of things and is content with the way things are but he does wish for things to get better and hopes that they do. For now though he will give it his all and nothing will stop him from getting what he wants.
