This version of Camilla is the one primarily seen during the plot of Fire Emblem Fates. The daughter of Garon, the King of Nohr, and second eldest sibling to Leo, Corrin, and Elise, Camilla is a motherly - albeit sometimes too much, individual, especially to her family, who will put their well being above anything else, even their own wishes. She has an almost unhealthy obsession with her sibling Corrin, and will do anything to ensure their overall safety, even if it means kidnapping and punishing them for betraying the family in times of war with Hoshido. When away from her siblings, Camilla presents herself as a dignified diplomat for her home country, showing a kindness, politeness, and charm that'd be fitting for the eldest princess. However, on the battlefield, this kindness is all but invisible, as she adopts a more ruthless, somewhat bloodthirsty attitude. She takes pleasure out of striking down her enemies, and will stop at nothing to complete a task laid before her - unless Corrin commands her stop, of course. They're the only one who can really reel her back in.

Now, my ideal version of the character would tone down this obsession with Corrin, and I intially planned on making it its own tab, but considering how minor of a change that would be in the grand scheme of things, I've ultimately decided against it. I'll make her obsession optional for those who are interested.

Queen Camilla

This version of Camilla, dubbed the Mad Queen, is one of my own creation, set in a world where she took control of the Nohrian military in an attempt to spare Corrin from their duties as commander, and was able to defeat the Hoshidans with her brutality. However, once the war was over, she went mad with the potential of her power, ultimately conquering Hoshido and pillaging the country for its plentiful resources that were so uncommon in Nohr. Now a few years later, she has succeeded her father, taking her place as Queen of the country. She delivers swift, albeit cruel justice, stomping out any sparks of rebellion before their movement can gain much traction. Her once kind demeanor is almost entirely gone, now replaced by one that's much more sadistic, smug, and cruel. She has no qualms with her actions anymore, and will do anything to ensure the safety and security of her people, though her personal interests are always her top priority.

Modern Camilla

This version of Camilla, last name Krakenburg, is one of my own creation, set in a modern setting as opposed to the more fantastical one of the source material. This interpretation of the character lives in modern day America, attending the somewhat-prestigious Windmire University along with her friends Selena and Beruka as part of the school's priemere sorority; nicknamed the Wyverns, where she serves as team captain for their volleyball efforts. Camilla is originally from the small European country of Nohr, though moved to America when she was young, severing any relationship with her siblings in the process. As far as she's concerned, she's an only child, and her loyalty resides with her two friends and the rest of her volleyball team. Her sorority has a fierce rivalry with the Pegasi of Cyrkensia University, and her specifically with the team's captain Hinoka. She'll do whatever it takes to beat them and win the championship, then unwind and relax when it's all over. Some may describe her as a workaholic obsessed with sports, pushing her team to try harder and harder until they achieve victory, and that's not that far off from the truth.

The Outbreak

Admittedly, this version of Camilla that I've come up with is a bit out there. Having caught a mysterious illness while traveling to Cheve, it was only after returning to Nohr that it seemed to take effect. I'm going to explain this plainly, just because justifying something like this would be a little weird. Camilla is essentially ground zero for a zombie-like plague, which spreads upon her biting someone. However, what this virus does is turn the victim into, well, Camilla! Now, you may be asking Why would you come up with something like this?, and I'd say because...it's a goofy, but interesting idea. Having essentially the entire castle Camillafied as they try to hunt down their precious Corrin just sounds fun in all honesty. And that's really all I can say about this whole idea, it just sounds silly, yet fun.
