In the world of Pokemon, every trainer has to begin somewhere. And that somewhere is the Pokemon Lab in their local region, where new trainers pick their very first Pokemon, and begin their grand Pokemon journey. One such place is the Pokemon Lab of Nuvema Town in Unova, run by Professor Aurea Juniper.
It's her job to give the starting trainers of Unova one of 3 Pokemon:
Snivy, the Grass Snake Pokemon, a Grass type
Tepig, the Fire Pig Pokemon, a Fire type
Oshawott, the Sea Otter Pokemon, a Water type
Each one begins at Level 5.
Professor Juniper is always eager to get first-timers started on their journeys, while also occasionally checking in on other trainers via Xtransceiver (cross-transceiver). So come on down to Nuvema Town and get a start towards becoming a Pokemon Master!
