Protowoman

She was the greatest hero the world had known. When the world was threatened by darkness, crushed under the steel heel of the Machine, plunged into chaos and slavery, she refused to give in. Using a suit of powered armor she designed herself which allowed her to fight on the level of humanity's oppressors, she led the people in an uprising. All over the world, man fought robot. Blood and oil spilled, covering the streets. The fires burned for months.

Humanity won. But their hero fell....

In her battle with the Central Control Core, the computer intelligence which had caused the androids' war of conquest in the first place, the woman's armor soaked incomprehensible amounts of abuse. She was mortally wounded, and the CCC still stood. Damaged, but functional. So she threw off all her suit's limiters, and made one final assault. This gave her the strength to finish the CCC, but it left her defenseless when the building-sized Core detonated. The hero bought humanity's freedom with her life.

This is the story everyone knows. Humanity has recovered. Machines are once more subservient. Yet history moves in circles. The CCC may rise again, and rogue robots remain. A hero is still needed....and a hero there is. You see, she did not die. She was found on the brink, her armor cut away, and before she breathed her last her brain was salvaged. Using the very technology that was nearly humanity's undoing, the hero's mind was placed in a new body. An android body, designed to be the first of the CCC's new line of unstoppable enforcers.

And so Protowoman was born.

The nameless hero, as far as the general public knows, is dead. As far as they know, Protowoman is a reprogrammed machine. Still, she is their new hero, fighting against evil and injustice, their shield against mad doctors and robot revolution! As such, she is both soldier and celebrity, even if there are those who will never completely trust her. After all, her body is a machine.

Protowoman is 5'8" tall, with pale skin and steely white hair that hangs loose and long. Her body appears to be that of an organic woman for the most part, but she's clearly an android; her eyes in particular give it away with their whirring nanolenses. Much of her armor, colored in grey with red and black highlights, her helmet in particular, is modular and can be removed when she needs or wants to. Scarred by some form of torch, her left shoulderblade bears the words "Hope Rides Alone" At will, she can transform the her right forearm into a cannon capable of firing bolts of concentrated plasma. Besides this, she's strong, fast, durable....though no one is invincible. She almost died once. Inevitably, it will happen again. On top of this, no matter how powerful she is physically, her mind is vulnerable. How much of her old life does she remember? How deeply is the hero of the first war for freedom buried under this new persona? In her silicon dreams, is she a human again?

Vore? Well, she's largely made of inorganic materials, so she's only likely to be prey to things that could handle that or feed off energy, to say nothing of getting her in a position to be preyed upon. In terms of predation, she can handle most normal food and certain types of energy or fuel input. Although she doesn't know it, her new body was built by the CCC with the capability of eating people.

I do also have an interest in playing her closer to the version from the Protomen album, as having been built from scratch, rather than the origin I crafted for her. Alternately she could work in a superhero setting....or even be shoehorned into a magical girl sort of thing.
