Athena spent a good year or so, trying to hunt down Gamine, the girl who murdered her friend. She didn't expect her to just waltz in after so long. And in an instant, she knew exactly what happened to Maya. She wasn't murdered, she gave in to the temptation of that body. It didn't take long for her AI to be reprogrammed for Gamine's use, and the lawyer's body to be converted to fertilizer! Wow, we should probably move to compilations of people getting eaten caught on security cam footage. (8/20/2020) (Story was penned entirely by Gamine, because I am eternally #LowEnergyGang.)
Widget is the personal AI companion and portable computer worn around the neck of Athena Cykes that allows her to use the Mood Matrix to analyze the emotions of others. Closely tied to Cykes's emotional state, Widget will change color and its expression according to how she is feeling at that time. Another by-product of this close relationship is Widget's occasional habit of saying Cykes's feelings aloud and often reflecting her thoughts, usually to her dismay.
