Species: Feral Pegasus



Oh look, a pony.

Quill Weave the bender of gender.

I feel that this statement needs to be made. Quill does not reside in Equestria, rather he lives in "The Nexus", where everything on this chatroom is combined into one continuity. So to speak.

Ponies are a bit of a niche on here. A niche on a niche website of niche fetishes that fills a certain niche that has niches within the niche and cater to other niches based on the niche fetish of the other niche player. Some niches fill a broad range of things, but ponies are just one of those niches that are just sorta there.

Instead of rambling about the website in general, I should probably do so about the character. That would make sense, since this is a character profile.
Quill Weave is a pegasus of light grey coat, brown hooves, and a blue/orange "Battlefield" mane/tail. His mane's usually pulled into a ponytail (Oddly enough), and his tail is rather unique in style. Along the top side of the tail is a ladder braid, almost like a spine, where the hair poofs out of for the rest of the tail. Quite interesting with the blend of orange and blue. Cutie mark is an inkwell and more modern quill fountain pen. 3'1 high when standing, he's actually really small as far adult ponies go.

I'm not quite sure why we ponies are considered to be feral. Yeah we're four legged creatures typically, unless they work in a factory and came to work drunk one night. And yes, we come from domesticated animals in the same sense that humans descend from domesticated monkeys, but I live in a fucking house. That's where the whole "Feral" thing kind of falls apart, like an Ikea bookshelf.

The life of a writer is certainly a very interesting one. With such a large time investment, most casual readers will tend to stick with writers that they know and respect. This audience tends to be quite... exploitable. There have been several very famous authors that will write a handful of outstanding novels, then ride the waves of mediocrity through the rest of their career. Examples include: Orson Scott Card, Anthony Horowitz and Stephen King, while writers like Colson Whitehead, Brad Strickland and Terry Pratchett, while still famous, tend to get swept under the rug.

Quill Weave falls into the former category. This pony has the potential for amazing stories, he has the talents and the skillsets, but not so much the willpower of inspiration. His career started with a book he wrote about a group of friends stuck in an ancient temple, and taught to survive and fight against a mystical power that threatens the world by an undead stranger. While it was a bit corny, the characters were what made the book and started his career. Characters are still his strong point, and that shows in the novels he spits out for his publisher, but the stories themselves and the books tend to be weak. But hey, an author's gotta eat, right?

It's not even that Quill can't think up good stories anymore, he simply doesn't care anymore. His publisher treats him like shit, and by putting out low quality novels, the publisher's reputation is, in turn, hit hard. But they can't get rid of Quill because he knows how to bait the masses of casual readers, and therefore make far too much money to kick him off. It's quite a comfortable situation he's got himself into!

As a writer, you grow to become paranoid of people. As Quill lives in very nice two story house in the middle of the woods. Trips to get groceries aren't exactly short, but it's no problem for a pegasus, flying creatures have an unfair advantage in that sense. One large bedroom, a large living room, a garage where his horse-drawn cart is stored along with many other things, an office, a decent galley kitchen, and even a spa room in the middle of the house for simply relaxing or hanging out. There is, however, one room below the office who's door should not be touched. Painful memories lie behind that slab of wood, and it's in people's best interests to not even look at it.

Quill is a buck with a troubled history. Most of his life has been good, living in a middle class family, plenty of friends and very athletic. He got a decent first job and wrote in his spare time for fun, when his book became a success it was one of the happiest moments of his life. It was only a certain event that caused Quill to become extremely reclusive, not trusting many people and rarely leaving his home.

Quill, despite being a recluse and paranoid, is actually a very genial pony. He's very open to new people, while being cautious of course, and enjoys company whenever he can get it. He's a fairly awkward pony, often not knowing what to say, and it's hard to get him to take things seriously. He's the kind of person that always tries to make people laugh, the kind that tries to be friends with everybody. Those people he will call a friend tend to be the few people he regularly associates with, and the ones he trusts completely. He's also a bit of a slut, even with people he's never met before, which can easily lead him into interesting situations.

I've got over a year of experience in roleplaying, so I shouldn't be terrible per se. Granted Adam Sandler has years of experience, but I'm not running to see any of his movies in theatres.

Roleplay preferences:

Gender largely depends on the player's mood. USUALLY I'll want to play as a stallion, but sometimes I just want to be a mare.

I can be anywhere, I don't have a place for this character to be except on a laptop.

I really enjoy being cute. Apparently I'm fairly good at it, but I think a pony pretending to be a puppy and playing fetch with a tennis ball is CHEATING.

I tend to swear a bit. Not quite like a sailor, but I tend to use "Fuck" much the same way David Cage uses decent graphics and shaky QTE prompts to hide terrible writing.

I can be a dragonpony! Just ask. I'll behave the same way I do as a pony, but without the feathers, coat and a more muscular tail.

I need to get around to drawing a slimepony version of Quill. Ask about it if you're interested.
