To her, a gourmet chicken lasagna tastes exactly like a cardboard box. This might seem tragic, until you realize she enjoys the way cardboard boxes taste, and prefers cardboard boxes because they are cheaper. And the cardboard box is just as healthy for her as vegetable soup is for the rest of us.

Rainbow, on a basic level, realizes that watching her slowly munch her way through a bowl of green legos, followed by munching on the ceramic bowl itself, is disturbing to most people. So she almost never eats in front of people. Well, except when eating people.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Rainbow is a terrible cook. When she makes rice, she prefers it "extra crispy," as white rice is boring, but the crunch, blackened remains of rice that has been so badly burnt it lit on fire is amazing. She prefers prefers her turkey sandwich with grape jelly, the flavors mixing quite nicely. Don't trust her cooking. Even if she tries to cook to your preferences, she has no idea what she's doing. She'll tell you that the burnt cake she made from moldy flour is completely fine. And to her, it tastes fine, if a bit bland.

People, of course, are completely different to her sense of taste. People have the most amazing flavors she can imagine, and she can't compare it to anything else.

Rainbow has severed ties with the Delish family, being unhappy with the behavior of some of it's members, and with the acceptance of said members.
