Mysterious Heroine Stops Bank Heist
Article & Photos by Chris Montblanc
Once again, the masked woman known only as Mallea has stopped crime in it's tracks. On Monday morning, a garishly costumed criminal referring to himself as the 'Black Hole' broke into the First Municipal Bank, using 'powers', the origin and actual cause of which unknown, to threaten the bank staff and the customers into submission, before demanding all the money in the vault.
Mere moments after the villain had the staff loading money into bags, Mallea arrived on the scene, wearing her trademark white costume with impeccable style. The Elastic Wonder made short work of the villainous thief, chasing him from the premises with only minor damages to the bank, and no further injuries.
As of Friday, the police report that the Black Hole is still at large, but surely the city is safer with Mallea standing faithful watch over us all. The heroine hasn't been seen since the incident.
Boy, that was a long week. Ever spent six days as a paperweight on some villain's desk? Booooring. I guess I got lucky that he tripped down those stairs. Oh well. At least I saved some people. And I was in the paper! Although I wanted to write that article myself.. Stupid Chris.
Raquelle isn't exactly your normal college girl. She doesn't even do a very good job pretending. The costume she wears for her alter ego, Mallea, isn't an especially good disguise, and, as a result quite a few people around campus are aware that the reporter-in-training Raquelle moonlights as a superhero.
She is, however, not a very good one. Though her entire body is elastic, able to stretch and contort into any shape or size as though she were rubber or putty, she doesn't exactly have a knack for fighting. Or for dodging. Or even mounting surprise attacks. As a result, it's no real surprise that most of the serious villains hanging around the city have come up with ways to deal with her. Even some of the somewhat more clever thugs have her figured out.
In fact, among the hero community, she's known as more of a nuisance than an ally, and often needs as much saving as your typical damsel in distress.
That doesn't stop her from trying, though!
In costume or out, she measures in only at 5'3 in height, and is rather lighter than she looks, thanks to the oddity of her body's composition. She has dark hair, which hangs nearly to her waist, and pale, utterly smooth skin, which has the faintest rubbery texture to the touch. When she's not out and about as Mallea, the Elastic Wonder, she tends to dress pretty normally. A t-shirt and a pair of jeans, typically, with a comfy pair of flip flops. Her costume, however, is rather more striking. Thigh-high leggings, jet black and made of latex, hugs her skin. A equally clingy white dress goes along with it. Both, thanks to a bit of a favor from some of the other heroes around, are able to stay with her, even when she changes shape. Of course, that doesn't stop the skirt from riding up constantly, and granting flashes of the panties beneath. A black mask covers only her eyes, and her hair is kept pinned back with a matching white headband.
