No one will miss a decimated mercenary unit, right? This team had a particular member who's original name was... Risa. Her codename in her unit was "Ichor" a personal choice of hers really. She wasn't a decorated veteran, but she was in that unit for a good two years and wasn't dead, so she had that going for her at the time.
Then they were all sent to one particular 'abandoned' facility. Said to just survey, pretty weird sounding job-but the pay was outrageous. Truly, truly outrageous which should have been a million red flags. But it was enough to retire on so...why not?
Obviously, a bad idea, as the moment they touched down at the facility they were all apprehended at once, all "Raskeja" remembers from the incident is lots of white coats, lots of flashing lights many many many needles. Eight people entered, only one left.
The exact motivations of the experiment performed on her unit is unknown, but one thing for certain is that Raskeja is no longer human. She's merely a worm in a human husk now. The proboscis was meant to devour her brain and take over her entirely, but thanks to willpower and DNA fuckery she retained control-and everything else resonated with her body.
Raskeja herself can modify her body in any way shape or form she sees fit now, but she typically goes for a six foot four semi-muscular build for public appearance and as to not freak out whatever company she gets assigned to.
Now onto Raskeja's biology:
As stated, she's no longer human, she's a worm inhabiting a human husk with complete and total control over it, acting as a center to the nervous system and a replacement of the spine she can generate a seemingly endless amount of mass. The worm itself is extremely hardy, able to deflect a small caliber bullet dead on, but not from point blank. Due to the seemingly limitless amount of mass she can generate, she has immense regenerative capabilities, since no part of her body is vital save for the actual 'entity' of herself, the proboscis, she can take a direct hit to the face and have all of it blown off-only to regenerate seconds later.
Atop of the regeneration she has several violent reactions in response to trauma. Any manner of mutations can happen, muscle expands-bone expanding to provide a protective casing, her arm metamorphosing into a giant fist, her upper face splitting in half for tendrils to spill out. Its really a catch 22, even being sliced in half she can spew her organs and various things, hooks, bones. Nothing is vital too her-save the worm.
If subjected to enough trauma, puncturing and mutilation, she can even mutate into a giant-or become one of her own volition through sheer willpower. This exhausts her though, and exasperates her weaknesses, the more heavily she's mutated, the larger the worm gets, the weaker its exoskeleton gets no matter how hard she tries to burrow into the flesh to hide. It will always pulsate, even glow when she's pushed to the brink.
She's far from invincible. But small arms fire does little, high caliber in focused points is the best option if flames or freezing is not available.
Raskeja as a person, however. Is..a little odd.
She's been through a lot. and by a lot one has to understand that she lost her entire body, she nearly died. She nearly lost everything that she was and who she was, through mental coping and various other things, a good chunk of her memory was destroyed as a part of self preservation, and many hang ups or insecurities she had before. Are now non-existent. Death is something she laughs at now, she's calm, collected, happy, almost. Her life is radically different from before, she doesn't remember who her family is. mutant, parasite. Some kind of..odd being now.
She just doesn't care anymore, she treats death as if its a joke, risks her life in her missions, has a arrogant, care-free attitude that scares the shit out of her squad mates more often than not, but she loves lasting relationships more than anything. What she really, truly wants-is to be seen as a person again, not a monster.
Civilian life isn't much different, but she doesn't go around traumatizing people with bits of her skull going everywhere from a sniper round she carelessly took to the face. Instead, she goes out clubbing, drinking enough to kill the average person, drugs. Anything to make her 'feel' again really. Drugs have no effect on her, typically purged in the form of violently puking and whatnot. Alcohol for some reason, still affects her though. She loves meeting new people, old friends, anyone who can put up with her inhuman appearance manners and tendencies so to speak. Shes constantly depressed, but puts on a assertive-dominating demeanor to try and get herself into other peoples circles or hearts.
