I assume you are here to look for Reffy's backstory, and the kind of things she will or won't do. I understand, So lets cut
straight to the chase, shall we?

Name: Reffy Aquaria
Species: Mermaid
Age: 22
Height: 180 cm, from the top of her head to the tips of her tailfin ( about 6 foot)
Weight: 85 kg (187 pounds)

Abilities:

Adept spellcaster
-Reffy has a strong understanding of the ways of magic, and can use her spells for combat or everyday use.

Underwater Breathing
-Gills, nuff said.

Mermaid slime
-In order to protect her, her body produces a thin layer of slick slime that covers her, this prevents her from dehydrating too fast if she were to leave the water.


Strengths:
-Magic
-Swimming, those fins are not just for show~
-Strong tail muscle, It would be wise to not be hit by it..
-Strong acids, She has a rather high metabolism.

Weaknesses:
-Cold or dry weather. She is very sensitive to higher and lower temperatures
-Melee combat. Other than her tail, nothing she does really packs a punch (.. ehehe.. a punch.. get it?)
-Hunger, Reffy tends to get hungry fast, due to her high metabolism.

-Studying magic
-Learning new things, especially cultures!

-Secretly likes eating other living beings, although she will never admit it.

Background:
Once a normal human mage, Reffy had gotten fed up with being chased by the various predators of the world. She decided that, in order to prevent herself from being eaten even again, she had to come up with a spell to make herself too distasteful to eat. She had everything set, The spell was planned out well, and the reagents she needed were all present, but when she ended up casting the magic upon herself, she found that a certain someone had decided to prank her by slipping a fish in with the other magical items. The result was.. odd. She lost her legs, the spell turning them into a single, amethyst colored fish tail. The prank had then infuriated her so much, that without thinking, she devoured the man who had planted the fish with her reagents in the first place. It was that moment that she realized another side effect of the spell; She had gained the ability to eat others, even those bigger than herself.
Her moral code told her it was wrong, to eat one, treat them like food, but her stomach told her a different story.. the flavor of living prey remaining on her tongue as she silently sat whilst digesting the prankster. In the end, she decided to do the best she could to resist the urges of her new predatory body, despite how rewarding it felt.

She was later found by a family of merpeople, who took pity with her, and soon after adopted her. They gave her a home within a lake, and her surname; Aquaria.
