Researcher_Akari

A pokemon researcher hired by the Galaxy Team Survey Corps to investigate and research the population, ecology, and biology of pokemon in the Hisui region. At least, that's what's publically known about her.

Akari herself would describe it more as an indentured servitude, an outsider smuggled in who agreed to take part of this in exchange for her not being deported back to where she came from. She's not very inclined to tell where that is, and seems to want to do everything to avoid going back. Regardless, the young Akari's taken her duty with about as much diligence as you'd expect from someone doing it because they have to, not necessarily because they want to, and prefers to not use the newly developed capture devices, preferring to leave pokemon as they are to observe.

Unknown to most, Akari's been secretly blessed by Almighty Sinnoh to revive once digested - it was a <i>very</i>harrowing first experience finding this out, but once imbued with this knowledge the girl's become remarkably okay with the process. Frequently one can find her digesting away, her presence within a gut seeming to have a calming presence on the pokemon that ate her. Treating her unfortunate devouring more as a spa, the girl's become quite reckless in her adaptation. She's also found a way to reduce her size to get into tinier nooks and crannies, if she can find the right herbs on site. In an emergency she always keeps a pair, one shrinks and one restores, in her pockets.
