Revy died while fighting to protect someone she loved, jumping in front of him and taking a bullet to the heart. She had managed to shoot and kill her opponent just before being shot herself. As the bullet passed through her chest and ripped open her heart and lung, her body seized up and her eyes widened prior to fading dim as she blacked out. Revy opened her eyes to see a dark abyss that she was seemingly floating in. Had she believed in heaven and hell, she might have suspected that she was somewhere in between. Dark shapes rippled and crept through the shadows closer to her. She could hear feint, but sinister laughter and whispers that grew louder as more swirled around her. Just as it seemed she would be swallowed up, a blue light glowed beside her and sent the creatures away. She felt her hand being gripped firmly as she was pulled out of the darkness and landed in Nexus Park. She looked around curiously and noticed a young man with dim blue eyes staring and smiling at her. He handed her the two pistols she had when she died, but he had corrupted them with the ability to taint any bullet fired from them with magical properties, poisonous and deadly to any angel or creature that relied on the sun. Without even telling her his name or why he brought her back to life as an immortal, he vanished in the shadows in front of her. Now she spends her days wandering Nexus in search of answers. |
Revy is Rebel Impure in her alignment. She is a Chinese-American born and raised in Chinatown, Manhattan, near Mott Street, spending most of her youth as a thief and murderer. Revy honed her skills with firearms by shooting at cans, her first murder involved shooting a corrupt police officer who beat and raped her. Prior to shooting the officer at point-blank range, Revy placed a pillow over his head to suppress the noise. Revy is very competitive, easily bored, and extremely ill-tempered, she is undiplomatic, believing in the use of brute force and coercion to get her way. In contrast to this, she's highly ticklish. Revy is a merciless killer who shows no mercy to her enemies. Revy uses the foulest language. She takes maniacal glee in killing anyone and everyone. |
Revy is one of the deadliest fighters in the world, whose skill with firearms and ability to dodge bullets is almost superhuman and unparalleled. Her weapons of choice are a pair of modified Beretta M92's; which are made out of stainless steel and had their barrels extended from 4.9" to 5.9" each (the 5.9" is the combat MOD barrel) and also adapted for silencers. They are engraved with "9mm Sword Cutlass" on both sides, as well as the Jolly Roger of the infamous pirate Calico Jack (which is also inlaid into the ivory grips), and a manufacture inscription in Thai. Due to her ambidextrous marksmanship skills, she is nicknamed "Two Hand" by the denizens of Roanapur. However, Revy has been seen using a variety of other firearms. She is also quite skilled in hand to hand combat. Her immortality has provided her with increased strength and speed, along with very fast self regeneration. Being that she was resurrected by a shadow-born, Revy retains small shadow like abilities from time to time, usually when close to death or dead. Every time she dies, she comes back a little less human and with more shadow like qualities. |
Revy is not well known for thinking rationally and typically acts purely on instinct. Adding in the fact that she is now corrupted with shadow-born powers, Revy must fight even harder to maintain her humanity or the darkness will claim her. Revy loses humanity every time she dies or kills someone innocent. She can gain humanity by having positive interactions with people or helping others, which might take convincing. After wondering into the wrong part of the forest, Revy managed to piss off a powerful witch named Oktavia who shrunk and toyed with her before devouring her whole. Revy learned a valuable lesson of how her pride can get her into trouble, and about her regenerative powers... |
Those of you who watch Black Lagoon, keep in mind that this is an alternate fan made reality of Revy and she may not be what you'd expect after watching the series. This is an older character of mine that has been updated and converted to my new project, like many others before her. I am open to chatting with anyone, but please don't demand a scene under the overly simplified reasoning being "Eat me, please!!!". I don't often have a lot of free time, so I am a little picky about the scenes I will engage in. I don't like to start things if I don't feel invested in them. So when requesting a scene, please be courteous and not pushy. Try to have an interesting idea for the scene that involves more than just sex or a getting eaten, those get boring after doing them repeatedly -_- Also, please avoid asking real life questions or discussing what you think I'm like IRL. I generally come here to escape and forget about work and such, so having it brought up here kinda irritates me. It's perfectly fine to discuss anime, manga, video games, tabletop games, movies, shows, music, books, and such. I love talking about anime and video games and as I mentioned before, I will talk with anyone as long as they respect my preferences. So feel free to approach me OOC and chat whenever my DND sign is not up. ^~^ I'm interested in scenes that really test the moral compass and sanity of my character, so anything that will put her in a morally compromising situation either good or bad will most likely be interesting to me :3 It could be a decision to help someone in order to gain an item or treasure, but being betrayed or deciding that it's not worth the effort and toying with the "quest giver" instead.
