Background
Hell generally runs in a hierarchical system in which demons are born into power. Does that mean that lesser demons can't ascend to take the place of rulers? Well, no, but that's an extraordinarily rare occurance at best. Most of the time, a demon stays in the same social standing that they were born in. As for those who rose to power? It's usually through careful, premeditated overthrowing. This wasn't the case for Rhystria, though. She simply stole a book.
Said book belonged to a demon tyrant who was unfortunate enough to not keep an eye on that thing at every waking moment. To be fair, said tyrant didn't really need to, though. It's not like losing a book of spells casts one down into the ranks of servitude. If anything, it was a nuisance— and that's only if they cared enough to notice it was missing in the first place. However, to a lowly demon such as Rhystria, it meant the world. The tome was a ticket away from a life where she barely stood above the social power of an imp.
That ticket lead her to a world where skies were blue and odd little green things poked out of the ground. This world was also fairly foreign to her. Honestly, it still remains foreign to her. She never really caught on to the whole 'owning property, working a job, and living an honest life' sort of thing. Rather, she opted for a life of taking over innocent people's houses until authorities notice something is off. When that happens, it's onto the next place! But just what happens to the rightful owners of these properties?
Well, to put it bluntly, Rhystria is really quite depraved. Like, even by hell standards. She's a pervert with a thing for miniature, living 'playthings,' and that stolen tome of hers can do countless things. Shrinking anyone down to size is trivial. (She even keeps said shriking page bookmarked). In essence, Rhystria is a trickster. She can put on a masquerade practically effortlessly (how do you think she got close to that book?), and said acts can lead to the impression that maybe she's something that resembles a half-decent person. However, just perhaps a few of these acts are sincere. Depraved as she may be, everyone has some redeeming qualities in them, right? Probably not, but who knows?
Tl;dr that's probably more coherent than the jumbled mess of words I wrote when sleep deprived:
Lesser demon steals tome from powerful tyrant demon and escapes hell with it. She's good at acting like a good person, but she's not. She's awful and gets off on shrinking people and making them suffer.
