Rias is the president of the Occult Research Club in the present time, perhaps at your high school?
She has lived for many millenia and will continue to for millenia to come. It is her life's work to bring honor to the House of Gremory by turning Humans, as well as other species and other devils to her house, the House of Gremory.
Although those within the House are considered servants, and are indebted to her, her treatment of them is much like family, and she'll blow anyone away who should dare lay a finger upon her servants without her permission.

Powers and Abilities

Demonic Power:
Rias has exceptional demonic power even for a High-Class Devil. Upon utilizing her demonic power of destruction's, the surroundings will gradually shakes to the point that her abilities is comparable to an Ultimate-Class Devil.

-Power of Destruction-
A type of demonic energy that allows her to release energies that can disintegrate matter, both living and inanimate, with relative ease. She is further able to control the shape and power of the technique such as creating multiple softball sized bullets to lessen the destructive force yet increase the range of her attack.

-Extinguished Star-
Rias' ultimate one-hit kill technique. Rias manipulates her Power of Destruction into a compression of unimaginable amounts of demonic power; takes the form of an enormous sphere with a mixture of crimson and black aura radiating from inside of it that launches it toward her enemies in a slow velocity. It has the ability of a magnetic force; pulling the enemies towards it and get disintegrated by the latter similar to a black hole.

Expert Magician:
Rias is also shown to be proficient in using magic such as the ritual to drain energy from Issei's left hand to let it appear human again, teleportation magic, healing spells with the most fatal being restored as she makes skin to skin, as well as defensive magic to protect herself as well as her servants from powerful attacks and create several layers of defensive barriers to protect from explosion aftershock of Katerea self-destruct spell. Rias can also use magic communication circles.

Other, Minor Abilities:
Enhanced Durability, Expert Tactician, Memory Alteration, Stealth Expert, Flight.

Servants of The House of Gremory

Rias has the ability to revive the dead or dying and to recruit them to her house, having them be reborn as devils themselves. She can also use her powers to rebirth others as Devils.
As such, they are given titles within her house, as well as added abilities.

Queens: Queens possess all the characteristics of Rooks, Knights, and Bishops, making them the most balanced piece as well as the most powerful. Within individual peerages, Queens typically act as their master's second-in-command, overseeing the rest of the peerage.

Rooks: Rooks gain superhuman strength, leading to high offense and defense. However, they are not very quick, and can get beaten easily by a high-speed opponent.

Bishops: Bishops gain enhanced magical abilities which they can use to conjure up a multitude of spells (offensive, healing, etc.). However, more powerful spells consume most of their magical power, which takes a long time to regain, forcing them to use their power carefully or risk becoming vulnerable to physical attacks.

Knights: Knights gain increased speed and mobility, enabling them to perform high-speed attacks and maneuvers. However, their main weakness is their low defense, making them vulnerable to powerful attacks if they are not careful. Another weakness among knights are their legs; if their legs are injured, their mobility is greatly reduced.

Pawns: The traits of Pawns is the ability to promote into a Queen, Rook, Knight, or Bishop in enemy territory or with the permission of their King.

Rias will assign her servants one of these titles, keeping their current abilities they hold in mind as well.
