The most simple of settings.. why have a gladiator setting when VB is around? Well while combat itself is all nice and fun, there is always more, Style and substance.. and dressing up prey in cute armor to be ripped off.
Feel the Roar of the crowd, the pulse of combat in your veins, the thrill of life and death play.. welcome to the arena, a place for gladiatorial combat, the settling of blood oaths and pure wanton gluttony with the masses watching and betting on everything and everyone.. It exists from prehistory to the future, there is always bloodsport. Sometimes they call it wrestling..
The setting in general leans toward classical era combats, though prehistory(Dinos and such) and modern(wrestlingesc) are quite easy to do too, the main changes will of course be in the participents, the specific arena, and the fans.. Mostly saurians in prehistory, a nice mix of furs and humans for the others..
Rolls. Gladiators of coruse, Slaves, Convicts to be devoured, Trainers(And massuses and such), Concubines to let the gladiators unwind after matches, Nobels and royals for the stands.. and of coruse the slavering hordes of people who want to watch the depravity..
Scenes:
Fights fit into 2 major types, Real Battles and Slaughters. Real battles are things that are roughly fair, either side could win honestly as the crowd cheers, Slaughters are one sided... its just how long prey can survive.. and how much of a show they put on.. Specific sorta matches can be convict execution, Slavery bouts, and of course ,the Rapes....(Last two are commonly combined)
All these fights of course ripe with the chance for fans to be accidentally brought in for quick extra snacks and toys... or thrown in by the bigger watchers as “Prizes” for the winner.. and you know whatever lands in the arena floor is property of the winner gladiator
Then you have the Gladiator training sessions, here people are rubbed down, massaged, working out preparing for the big show, heck there often eaten too.. but with promised reforming, your final curtain'll be for the fans..right? “like that boy, well tommorow your going in my gut for good burp
The manager/emperor and his guests can also put various shows on in the expensive seats.. acts of royal depravity fit certain otters sultan form afterall
Style: by nature the Arena can be rough, and snuff and blood is more expected than many of the scenes I usually do, that being said still please clear it with me if we want to do something brutally violant as that. Trophy Taking is VERY common in this setting
Props: armored preds and prey are quite appreciated, the more things to delay and draw out a match.. and make nice trophies.. come back on your shield in a brown form for example.

More Details on the VWF
The VWF is a wide ranging, though sometimes undercover circuit of vorish wrestling. Though the audiances can be big, the true money comes from the merchdising and selling of products endorsed(Including match dvd)
There are many subgroups, a few which follow
The Gladiators- These folks take the traditional Gladitorial method of fighting to the death, furs in armor using various normal weapons, while techincally folks who aren't vorers can do well, the crowd and audience tends to loath those who don't finish folks in the organic way of digesting them alive, the matches are often NOT fair, so being disliked by the audience is a very risky move(of course folks who play the bad guy and heel can be utterly LOVED by the crowd too.).. The “Boss” often rules like a king in deciding fates of ambigous matches... so its good to make a clear winner
The Grapple--
The nickname for the largest group, furs who engage in hand to hand wrestling with eachother to the cheering on fans, Its rules vary somewhat from venue to venue, oftentimes limited sex till someone has “Won” the match. Not all matches end in vore either, there are rather a lot of slavery matches and bouts for possesions and the like...

There are two ways for a team to loose, one, each and every member of there team has been digested(Untile your digested regurgitation is possible), or if a team feels it has no chance they can attempt to surrender. they move to one of several designated locations with a loudspeaker on a pole and announce there intentions... then a clock count down begins and if the person can stay uneaten(And within 200 feet of the pole) for 3 minutes they have "Properly" surrendered. and cannot be a target..
While traditionally there are two sides, the more ambitious games involve every man for himself and 4-6 teams against eachother
The after effects tend to flow into one of two options
Soft:The loosers, of each time are digested and reform as the slaves of the eater for a week, forced to do various demeaning things.., uneaten loosers meals are regurgiated and unenslaved.
Grisly: The loosing team doesn't come back.... the winning team who have been swallowed by loosing team do get regurgiated.. though often have a penance to do.. loosers who "PROPERLY" surrender, aren't eaten up, but have to regurgitate tehre catch
Generally the Game is also televised, camera furs following the contestants, fixed ones, and of course ones that are strapped to the players, its a pay per view... and the most sucessuful players/teams often end up doing endorsements
