Born in the dark and gloomy Land of Shadows, Rio made his way out of there rather quickly while growing up. Imps are very low on the food chain there, so he had to escape or be a snack for someone stronger. So, he landed in the regular world, or, as his kin call it "Utopia", where freedom of choice is king and ones birthright does not matter. But, in the transition, he lost his ability to form his wings or tail at all, as it required such amount of power that Utopia could not provide him.

His life in the barren lands has left him with an insatiable lust for adventure and fun, getting into trouble when he can because it feels so fun! His magical abilites have wavered slightly, but he can still bust out basic spells in self defense should need be, and do cool party tricks for boys and girls he fancies. His dayjob is simple, he is a waiter at an eastern style restaurant, and he loves to tease some of the customers, especially in his tight shorts that leave none of his buttocks to imagination.
