Ever wonder what would happen if you took a vorephilic nerd, then gave him incredible power and the ability to gain more, as well as pursue his interest?

Yeah, neither did Roland, but then it happened to him. Go figure! He was just minding his own business, when he was attacked by a really, REALLY weird animal. Imagine a cross between a komodo dragon, a dog, and a bird. Unfortunately for the critter, he happened to have a knife handy, and when it ATE him, he got stabby.

.... VERY stabby.

Unfortunately for him, it was too late to keep from getting infected. Fortunately, though, he proved to be the stronger party in that encounter, and, well, the critter MAY have survived... but it sure as hell wasn't about to mess with HIM again. As for Roland, he went home, took a shower, and passed out.

The damage was done, though. Or, rather, the damage was undone. He'd been cut up by teeth, burnt by digestive fluids, and generally exhausted. When he woke up, though, he was perfectly well-rested, perfectly healthy, and ravenously hungry. And when I say ravenously hungry, I mean he ate the entire contents of his fridge in one go. Took him half an hour to digest all of this, and when he checked his weight out of curiosity, he two hundred and sixty pounds. He HAD been one hundred and eighty.

Clearly, something was up. So, in the greatest of superheroing traditions, he started experimenting. Simple stuff first... healing minor injuries. A cut to his arm healed in no time at all. He was stronger, too, able to lift his entire bed. He noticed, as he started checking more and more things, that there was something else along with this... his eyes would flash blue, and a faint blue aura would surround him, until he stopped using his improved strength. And, then, when he got hungry, he experimented again, and found that he could swallow an entire orange, whole.

From there... well, he learned a great many other things. He learned that he could shapeshift, within the limits of his mass. He learned that he could rearrange his body. He learned that he could EAT people, which was as alarming as it was exciting. He learned, as well, that he could manipulate certain things with his mind, especially earth, stone, and metal. He also learned that he could augment himself with DNA samples from other races, and pull biomass from the ground, or trees, or any other living thing with the same basic makeup as himself, and he learned how to use all of this to his advantage. For starters, he used it to make new clothes.

And THEN he learned about the portals... the rifts between realities, ways to safely travel to other worlds, which themselves may or may not be safe(it only takes stepping into a pool of acid ONCE to learn how to fly, it turns out). And he learned from THERE just what a wonderful resource they were... alien DNA is still DNA he can use for myriad purposes. Even if he can't use his powers when exposed to UV light...

And now he's here, and he's having the time of his LIFE.

Roland's friendly enough, all told. He's cheerful, somewhat snarky, and perhaps slightly perverse. But, then, he likes vore, so that explains that. As for his appearance, he stands at five feet ten inches tall, with short, ruddy brown hair and a moustache/goetee combo. His eyes, most of the time, are blue, and he's perfectly human, and healthy. Not overweight, not underweight, though perhaps heavier than he looks(A LOT heavier than he looks). He'll typically wear comfortable clothes, jeans and a T-shirt and sneakers, but on occasion... well, sometimes a job requires CLASS. Besides, nothing scares the bejeesus out of punks like a good monster. .... might be the wrong kind of class.
