Rylar

The mouse is gone for good now. He found his way too far from home and caught the attention of ArtoriasSteelclaw, who toyed with him in a game of cat and mouse before taking him home to finish him off. In the end, food is food, and mice are just too weak to be anything other than that to a gryphon.

History

Rylar is from a distant world, a realm where technology has not ever been very well developed but the use of magic is a distinct possibility. Not every creature has the capacity to use magic as it is a gift one is either born with or not and to varying degrees. While certain species are known for the trait being common amongst them others, such as mouse-kind, do not often have such a capacity. Rylar, however, is fortunate enough to have been blessed with the innate ability to use magic.

Born to a family already full of children thanks to the notorious fertility of rodents there seemed at first to be nothing special about the child. Well, at least nothing good. He was smaller than the others, even those around his same age were a good head taller than he was, and he was physically weak. A farming family life style kept him constantly busy with chores but due to his frailty and small size he could not quite keep up. He was regarded as useless and often overlooked, at times even going hungry as brothers and sisters greedily stole from his plate. This compounded his frailty and often left him seeming sickly and pale. No one had any knowledge of his capacity for magic for none had bothered to test for it, after all it is something especially rare in mice. However his parents at least had enough compassion to try to care for him despite his shortcomings... it is simply that he was caught up in the midst of more than a dozen other young mice all fighting for their share of attention from overworked and stressed parents.

As time went on he felt more and more distant and disgusted with his family. Young and impressionable, he began to feel as though they cared far less than they really did, and bred resentment and anger for them. Having nobody that he trusted enough to share his feelings with, he would often retreat into the solitude of the forest to sulk whenever he didn't have chores to do. He spent practically all of his free time wandering the trails, climbing trees, and watching the wild animals that came to drink at the stream. As small as he was at still less than ten years old it is a wonder no predatory creature snatched him up until one day when that was exactly what happened. He had gone down to the stream himself to drink from the clear waters, stepping out into the open from beneath the canopy for what would have been only a few seconds when a dark shape flew overhead casting a shadow over him. Getting up to run, he found himself snatched up in a talon before he could even take a step.

A dragon had captured him, a large crimson scaled creature he would hardly even be a mouthful for. He screamed and he struggled but it did no good, all his effort was simply ignored until the creature settled into his cave upon a mountain top. The dragon set down the mouse and toyed with him for a while, knocking him over gently each time the rodent got up to flee, though right when his amusement faded and he was prepared to finish his meal he noticed something odd. Rylar smelled of magic. The dragon himself was an able magic user, allowing him to sense these things, and was rather surprised when he realized that of all creatures a mouse had been born with the gift.

Introducing himself by the name Raphael, the dragon offered Rylar a choice. Having long been unable to find a suitable mate, the dragon wished to leave behind a legacy of some kind and thought that if the rodent were to learn magic and the wisdom of a near immortal dragon he might spread some good out amongst the many worlds. The mouse could either become a meal or be adopted, forced to live with the dragon and to learn magic. Rylar was actually delighted by the offer, finding what he had often longed for, a purpose, something he would be good at. The mouse threw himself into his studies. First he learned the basics of reading and writing various languages from Raphael and then he was set loose amongst the wide selection of spell books that the dragon had pilfered throughout the years. He devoured all the knowledge that he could and then spent his days practicing and rereading as though obsessed. All the while the dragon lectured him on deeper meanings in life, on practical matters of how to survive, and on moral grounds of how to better the lives of those he came into contact with. Yes, ironically enough, the dragon who almost ate an innocent child had his own ideas on right and wrong.

When he finally came into adulthood the dragon charged him with traveling far abroad to use his magic in helping others and to spread good will and wisdom where he could. The mouse was crushed by the thought of leaving his adoptive parent, a being who was all he had known for more than half of his life, but Raphael was insistent and Rylar had no choice but to relent. He vowed to himself that he would at the very least do the best job that he could and hoped that somewhere, somehow, the being he considered to be his father would be proud of him.

Now he wanders from world to world, settling in for a while in one place or the other, doing what he can to better the lives of those around him. He makes a living aiding those with the money to spare and spends some of his off time caring for those less fortunate, sometimes using his magic to brighten days and alleviate problems, yet at other times all he can really do is lend an ear and offer some advice or, failing that, sympathy. However he often is left feeling alone and empty, and desires nothing more than to be treated with genuine affection. He spends a lot more time than he'd like to admit in night clubs and singles bars, occasionally picking up a quick fling but always searching for something more.

Never/Dislike I'm fine with being placed in the mouth and chewed all at once, but not with being tortured or picked apart slowly.
Digestion Always/Love

Never/Dislike I won't fully enjoy vore unless there is digestion. A detailed and gory description isn't necessary, something so simple as a few words about dissolving and absorbing the meal will suffice.

Never/Dislike One of my favorites. Adored as a finisher after another vore method to heavily imply fatality beyond fatality.
Stretchy Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike Sometimes due to size issues this is necessary for vore or sex. Overly stretchy kind of throws me off though, and I'd prefer it not be a focus.
Realistic Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike I like realism to a degree. I do enjoy suspension of disbelief.
Cooking Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike "Soft" cooking only. Heat up a mouse until he's toasty, but don't cause too much pain or kill him
Food Related Always/Love
+

Never/Dislike Maybe a bit of garnish or flavoring, but the prey is the main course.

Never/Dislike In the right circumstances it can be alright as a dominance issue or in the midst of a passionate moment.

Blood Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike Sometimes blood happens, especially when being snapped up by a predator with large pointy teeth. I prefer to keep it light, except with chewing or vampirism, where there's kind of a focus on that.
Scat Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike I am not comfortable with this and will stop an RP if there's mention of it.
Disposal Always/Love

Never/Dislike If you feel the need then by all means. I especially love it when a few bones from the mouse are coughed up post digestion.

Magic Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike I'm a wizard, I can and do use magic. I can understand and interact with other people's magic most of the time. Magic does not have to be a focal point or anything though, and overuse can kill the mood.
Willing Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike I very much encourage and enjoy mutual agreement even in acts of vore. However, I'm not usually the stereotypical willing prey that begs to be eaten. Most of the time the predator will actually have to express interest first.
Unwilling Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike I can and often do play as being slightly scared or reluctant, and it can go to full out desperate resistance if preferred.

Non-Sentient Partner Always/Love

--
Never/Dislike A non-sentient being cannot be willing or enjoy it, which takes away all the meaning of it for me. Do note however that I consider feral animals to be sentient as well as sufficiently advanced robots.
Underage Character Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike I have moral issues with underage play and especially illustrations of nude, underage characters. If your profile contains one of these it is highly likely you are already on my permanent ignore list.
Verbose Posts Always/Love

Never/Dislike I tend to avoid verbose posters unless I'm feeling really up for it. I can indeed produce some walls of text when sufficiently interested though.

Never/Dislike Please know your character well enough that their reactions are genuine for the situation at hand.
Surprise Me Always/Love
+
--
Never/Dislike A predator coming up to me out of nowhere could be interesting, but because I enjoy a degree of intimacy a bit of talking or seduction may be required first... that or some struggle.
Multi-Session Always/Love

--
Never/Dislike I like to complete a scene in one session if possible, but enjoy multiple scenes in a long term roleplay.
Grab and Gulp Always/Love

Never/Dislike Fine with this, though the character is likely to react poorly initially.
Group Roleplay Always/Love
