Sadessa is an albino doe, the proverbial white hind. People say it's a blessing, that she's good luck just by being somewhere. As far as she's concerned, it just makes her a target for every predator and hunter in the world.
Some people expect her to be magic, but she's not. No magic at all aside from the power to bring out greed and the desire for possession. Everyone wants her, one way or another.
She is extremely graceful, and quiet, but that isn't magic. It's just being a deer.
She has a tragic past. Because she's such a hunter's prize, she drew danger to her family and got them all killed. The only time since she's tried to settle anywhere earned her a large scar on her left side, covered by her fur.
