Just a shadow

Not many people know who Sage is, for that matter most people don't even know she exists. You see Sage is a rather odd girl instead of going to class like most normal people she spends her time on the school grounds under a tree or on a bench. For the most part she is either seen reading a book or even just eating lunch by herself. People never tend to approach her or when they do they don't recognize her or really know who she is. The question seems to arise every few months or so. "Who is that girl? What class is she in? I don't ever see her in the hallway." Words like this spread throughout the school like wildfire. People begin to question and question but it doesn't take long until the rumors die down once more, and everyone seems to forget about her, but there always a few students who don't. They recall seeing the rather quiet girl in the yard and the ones who remember always seem to find her out and speak to her.

Upon meeting the girl she doesn't say much, if anything at all. She keeps to herself and just shoves her head in her books and tries to avoid any kind of eye contact she can. Though if these students are persistent are enough Sage well finally lift her head and began to talk, she is a rather sweet girl, she just tends to keep to herself for the most part. She tends to blush a lot when talking and doesn't seem to know what she is saying and just stutters as she fumbles for the right words, when she does this she won't look at anyone, just turn away and hope no one notices how nervous she gets. If you are lucky enough to hold her attention she may ask you to sit down next to her and even offer you some food but make sure you pay attention to that rather dark smirk she has once you take the bait.

Not quite human

If the title didn't give it away, Sage isn't human. And if you were to ask her what she was she wouldn't even give you a direct answer, the short answer she is a demon that feeds on the memories and insecurities of others. Sage comes off sweet and innocent as she stays tucked under a tree to read her books, and for the most part she doesn't even make herself known to the public eye. She lurks about the school like a shadow and for the most part stays hidden from other students. it's not that she can't be seen, it's just she does not give off a strong presence. If she was to speak to someone they would know she was there. But this is the way she prefers it, it works out better for her. She doesn't cause much attention and it's much easier for her to get away with her dark deeds.

For those who are aware of her presence she always has something rather odd in store for them. Sage won't make a single move though until she knows she has you trapped in her web of lies, the moment you sit down next to her, you belong to her.

Without missing a single beat she shrinks her new toy down and begins to play with them in the way an innocent child would, though all the while she has a dominating aurora surround her. She is not kind with her toys and doesn't seem to show concern if she breaks a limb on accident. As this occurs she speaks down to them, letting them know not a single soul will remember them the moment she finishes them off and she keeps talking and belittling them until their very spirits break. Those her words may come out kind and rather sweet an innocent they are laced with a darkness that would make any spine shiver.

For what she does to her prey? Well she uses her imagination. Stick them in a shoe perhaps as she goes for a walk? Perhaps pack them tight between two pieces of bread and make them into a sandwich? Of course if she is bored she might simply outright crush you in the palm of her hand or simply swallow you whole without a second thought. Of course there have been times when multiple people have approached her at once, and she likes to play a game called Worship the Goddess, or die. And the title itself tells you how the game is played. If she doesn't like the way you are sucking up to her she will simply end you under foot or chomp you in two pieces, anything to make the rest of the group squirm for their life.

At the end of the day, her prey is going to die. It is very rare for Sage to keep someone alive, there would have to be some sort of connection there. Once she kills someone off their souls are trapped within her, they don't move on at all, there is no heaven or hell for them. The person's memory live and die within Sage for the rest of time. The moment she captures the soul the existence of that person vanishes from the world, they all but vanish and no one remembers them at all, it was as if they never existed from the beginning.

You may spot Sage from outside the classroom window, or perhaps pass her by when walking through the courtyard, but the question is, do you approach?

Most people assume she is seventeen or eighteen, though she has been on this world for quite sometime.

Sage's presence isn't well known to many, she seems to wander the halls like a ghost, not many people even know she exists.

Sage is not human, she is a demon that feasts on the memories of people.

She shrinks her prey down, be it to 5 inches or even much, much smaller.

She disposes of her prey in anyway she can think of. Be it underfoot, down her throat, or even under her arm.

Though she comes off rather innocent, her words are belittling and quite insulting.

It's possible to genuinely befriend her, but not easy.
