First thing's first. Samuel is NOT a demon. He has been called a demon, a monster, a freak, you name it. It is allways when he feels comfortable with someone, and decides to show them what he can do. Because of this, he has a hard time making friends.
Backstory-
His name is Samuel. Never Sam. When Samuel was just a small child, he was taken from his mother by a group of scientists. He still remembers seeing her sobbing as he was dragged away. He was then experimented on by these scientists. They had seen a person by the name of
Maximum_Ride , and had decided to make their very own version. Samuel had bat genes spliced into his own, and his own genes altered so that he could retract his new wings into his body in order to hide them. The mutation which allowed this mutated itself, growing into a new ability. Samuel now has complete control over every atom in his body. He can look like anyone. Sound like anyone. In addition to this, he is able to emit a sound wave so focused that it repels matter itself.
After a few years in the lab, being held in a cage, Samuel mastered his abilities. He morphed into one of the scientists overnight, claiming that "The subject has escaped!" The other scientists went into a panic, unlocking the cage for the person they thought was their co-worker. Samuel did not waste a second. He released his sound wave at the ground, causing him to lift up. he then flared out his wings, which had grown from his back, and soared right out of the window, which they had kept in his sight in order to provoke him, for one of their experiments. He soared away, and when he landed, he found himself in the Nexus. He now lives here, simply trying to survive. He has a deep hatred for anyone he sees in a white lab coat.

Personality-
Samuel usually tries to keep to himself, though he does have a bit of curiosity, since he was kept locked up for so long. Because of this, whenever he sees a new thing or a new person, he will try to observe them from a distance. If that doesn't work, and he HAS to get close, he will try his best to keep his guard up, and will usually not really open up untill he has truly gotten to know someone, and believes they can be trusted. Once he does, however, he considers the one he opened up to to be his friend, and will likely remain their friend for life. This means he will fight to protect them, as well as put their well being before his own.
Additional notes-
His shape shifting ability DOES have it's limits. Due to one of the experiments, his memory was slightly impaired. He can remember people, places, things said just fine, but he forgets faces. Because of this, he is only able to shapeshift into people he has seen recently
