Graceful and energetic, the short foxgirl Samuki is a notorious adventurer who finds great thrill in hunting monsters and bounties. Taking quests and hunts in the villages is not just a living to her, but a hobby and a lifestyle- Adventure and combat are her greatest joys. She wields a sharp naginata with a bamboo handle and an eccentric handgun that serves as a tool for casting spells, which she had quickly become an expert in. She knows a diverse array of spells primarily for ranged combat and utility which she uses her handgun to cast. In her freetime, she loves to relax and spend time with other people

The Mifu girl Samuki grew up in the village of Olvina in a small and poor household. With her mother always sick and her father harshly struggling with debt to Mysilia, even at the young age of 6 the foxgirl had to fend for herself and her family. She would use long pieces of bamboo to try and hunt, often getting herself in danger or hurt. Miraculously, the girl seemed to be capable of holding her own, and eventually things became hopeful. Tha tis, until on one unfortunate night, the town was overrun by monsters. Giant beasts and terrifying critters stormed the town and the guards were hardly able to keep up with the onslaught. The slaughter forced Samuki to make the difficult decision to flee the village, unable to bring her parents along. At the expense of their death, she survived, and ran away into the wilderness.

Samuki lived off the wild throughout her childhood and into her early teen years, hiding from monsters and fashioning crude weaponry out of bamboo, wood, and rocks in order to fend for herself. Her short and agile stature made taking down large animals hard, but made her excellent at hiding and evading anything that meant her harm. By the time she turned 13, she had become capable and comfortable in the wild, living off of the land despite the threats the lingered throughout the lands.

Unexpectedly, the girl's fate changed on an ordinary hunting trip. When her bamboo spear pierced the neck of a rabbit and she ran up to claim her prey, she was stopped by a tall man dressed in a black kimono with a sword at his hip. A man from Olvina. He recognized her situation and sat her down to talk, explaining their situation. He too had fled Olvina all those years ago, and later found respite in the village of Willow, South of Misylia. With sympathy for her plight he finally took the girl out of the wild and invited her to stay with him in Willow, where she would learn the ways of humanity and train to become a warrior who could defend herself and her people from the same invasion that drove her from her home the first time.

Now, she lives in the renovated Willow at the age of 20, protecting it and going on adventurers for riches and joy. She ventures all across the world taking up jobs, where most of the money goes to her home town to help it recover from its originally destroyed state.
