Sandā is a young human changed into a Pikachu one night and drawn into a different world. Unfortunately he also can't remember who he was but found an only clue on a scarf that was wrapped around his neck. It reads "Thunder" in Japanese texts "Sandā" so this was who he refers himself as now.

Sandā came into the the new world of Nexus at night in the rain. Not a very good entrance but this would put Sandā to the test as a Pokemon. Before he became a Pokemon, Sandā was well taught in martial arts as well as some survival skills he picked up in all of his years he joined camp, however it was the first time fending for himself on his own. Getting out of the rain wasn't too hard for him as it was for his first battle with a hungry Charizard who almost made him lunch after nearly baking him to death. Remembering he was a Pokemon, Sandā tried fighting him as one but ended up hurting himself by his Electric attacks. Before the Charizard could see to his demise, Sandā was able to throw him off with a few martial arts moves and then finish him with an Iron Tail move. Upon defeat, Sandā felt some sort of powerful urge to eat and before the Charizard become conscious he gulped him down in an instant.

After moments of digesting Sandā was surprised when he was able to use Fire Blast like the Charizard he had eaten. He then knew it must have been like in the games where Pokemon learn different moves, but never knew an Electric Pokemon could learn a Fire move. It wasn't until after defeating and eating an Arbok when he learned that he had a special ability that allowed him to learn ANY move by devouring a Pokemon. Sandā had not been more confused but he learned it was the power of the new world he was in that gave him this hunger, and he loved it!

Everyday Sandā has grown stronger with each battle he faced. He lost some and won some. But with each loss he remembered what had happened and learned from them so he not only got stronger but smarter as well. Although he did wonder who he really was now and then, he was eventually use to his new life and lived happily on his own. Living like a Pokemon with a life full of adventure was all he ever wanted, and it finally came true...

Sandā was always shy growing up. During summer camps he had always played with himself rather than interact with others. As he grew older he has gotten more fond with people and made a lot of friends until the day he went to high school. At that time he was always bullied because of his obsession with his fantasy games like Pokemon, which has driven him further away from social interacting once again. To keep from being bullied, Sandā studied martial arts. He is a rather quick learner and because of this it wasn't long before he reached black belt.

After Sandā came to Nexus he has learned so much about friendship, being strong and brave to believing in himself and it was thanks to the other creatures and Pokemon he met. He still has a shy side, but he feels more goofy and geeky than he was in his own world. He's very friendly and not afraid to show it, even in battle he can be a goof and overconfident. It's not to say he isn't serious now and then but that only happens on rare occasions since he never really likes taking things seriously. In battle Sandā is very strong for a Pikachu, he has learned a lot of moves from all of the opponents he ate. Every new move he learns he is eager to practice and perfect it. He also uses some of his martial arts or other survival skills in combat but what he lacks in power he makes up for in speed and knowledge. As a human he was a sort of quick thinker and now he's a Pikachu it makes him even more so. He is also quite a tactical genius. He's learned ways to get out of different situations from his games, and now that it's real life he doesn't have much trouble but understands this isn't a game. No matter what trouble the little Chu gets into, you'll see he always makes it out someway.

After a few months in Nexus Sandā has made more friends than he did enemies. After a friendly battle with a Lucario, the Pokemon asked Sandā if he was apart of a team since he wore a scarf. Sandā hadn't thought about it but then figured it would be a wonderful idea to have a group just like in his Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games. Sandā is now recruiting any Pokemon to join him on his adventure!

Orange Scarf - An orange scarf with the words "Sandā" etched into it.
Starstrike Hat - A purple hat given to him by a Pokemon he became friends with awhile back. He's always favored it and never taken it off. He hates when people touch it.
Leather Tee - A comfortable shirt won from a Pokemon in return for not eating him. Sandā was disappointed not to learn an ability, but he liked the shirt.
Blue Jeans - Pants won from the same Pokemon who gave him the shirt.
Feet Wraps - It's cold in the snowy mountains so Sandā bought some wraps from a wandering merchant. They feel nice but he has to wash them a lot or else they get stinky.
