A sphinx skilled in shamanism and necromancy and is a Great Dutchess ranked Ashura in the demonic hierarchy of the Jigokusekai. Born into the Desert Circle of the Bast Kingdom, Sangoma's power lies mostly in that of necromancy, wherein she is able to bring back those who have passed on or re-animate corpses. Sangoma summons zombie animals to do her bidding which is due to her having dominion of the Tomb of Beasts, a vast 'pet cementary' where all hellish creatures lay in their eternal rest. Sangoma was summoned by Tabitha, the youngest sister of the Witch of the Fifth Dimension, to revive her sister, to which the sphinx succeeded by pulling forth a soul of a Yali and implanting it into the body of the witch. Alongside her vast prowess in necromancy, Sangoma boasts a fair amount of mastery in casting hexes or curses on others and also has an affinity for using fire based magic.
