Satanaya

A witch that is the disciple and follow of the incredibly power Witch of Death, Agatha. Satanaya is well known among witches as having an abnormal (some would even say, borderline obsessive) fascination with the dead and the magic pertaining to it's manipulation. Some could call it necrophilia but, Satanaya insists it's merely a love of necromancy that's driven her to near insane levels of dedication and intrigue regarding the corpses and decay. To better understand this (or at least try to), one must look far back into the distant past when Satanaya was a bit more average. Contrary to popular belief, Satanaya began her life as an average human of noble birth. Born into a particularly wealthy family in the dreary and dark country of Sachile, Satanaya was treated to the many fruits a noble life had for a child in those medieval times, however she was still considered...quite odd among her parents and elder siblings. This oddity among them was due to a fascination with magic, an art among humans that could not so easily be attained through simple training and dedication. Instead of reading school books, Satanaya spent her time studying what grimoires she could find in a time where magic was slowly becoming a forbidden art...

However, despite her enthusiasm, her natural biology as a human just could not grasp the means for her to use magic herself. It was this limitation that frustrated Satanaya for many years and would eventually lead to her trying to change her very biological make up. By this point, being a human was only a prison and Satanaya would have no part in being such a boring creature if she could not pursue her dreams in magic. It was through this frustration that Satanaya would learn of the Witches, the only means of which she could use magic...and to do so, she must become one of them. Though her exposure to the knowledge of witches, Satanaya would have the luck (some would say misfortune) of running into the Witch of Death, Agatha...or at least, her existence anyway. With a powerful witch in sight, the (now adult) Satanaya spent years trying to reach Agatha and tell of how she wished to be a witch, tell of how she wished to cast off her humanity just to live a life filled with magic. For a time, Satanaya would be met with silence but soon, her prayers to the witch were answered and she was gifted with a chance to become Agatha's disciple and follower. The Eld-Witch normally despised humans but, saw a great promise in Satanaya's will and determination to learn magic. However to become a witch, Agatha placed before Satanaya a test.

This test was to know the life of a witch and truly detach herself from humans...and for this, Agatha killed Satanaya from the inside out and made her into the undead.

Satanaya could merely watch as the life of the family she created and had slowly drifted away from her. Accused of being a witch, she was chased away by the family she had and hunted down like a mere animal. No longer allowed to live among humans, Satanaya took up residence in the woodlands bordering her former hometown. In her isolation, she saw company in her magical powers of the dead and made her new home in the cemetery in the deep woods. Satanaya watched from her decaying home as everyone she once loved grew old and died, the world and time itself marching forward...while she remained amongst the dead, her inability to re-experience death forbidding her from joining her family where she once belonged. Indeed, it was through her long unlife that Satanaya realized what it truly meant to be a witch...and more importantly how much of a fool she was for throwing away the humanity she thought she hated.

Fast forward to the present day and Satanaya still walks among the world of the living, her mannerisms and ideals still roughly the same as they were in the feudal centuries of the past. She holds a rather aristocratic air to her and still believes herself to be of noble blood despite her detachment from her former lineage. For this reason, Satanaya's way of speech and manners are rather refined and, even though she converses with and handles corpses, she truly believes herself to be an elegant lady. Satanaya has borderlining obsession with the dead, using her powers to bring the dead back to life if only to have 'a cup of tea' with. She has a somewhat playful and impish personality, teasing and scaring people with her powers just for fun but, never seeming to show she's outright malicious with her pranks. However, there are times where she forgets the limits in which a living being can take before dieing, Satanaya's neglect of this leading to a fair amount of innocent people being killed in her attempts to have a little fun. Satanaya is also quite gluttonous, if her pudgy form isn't evident enough, and loves to partake on human flesh. Her preferred 'dish' usually consists of younger humans, finding their meat to be rather supple and tender but, she herself will not be choosy if her belly's rumbling...

Satanaya's powers lie within necromancy, dark magic and poisoning magic. However, Satanaya's body is where the most interest can be taken in a magical sense, for swirling in Satanaya's bowels is an eldritch mass of different mana energies mixing all into one vile cocktail. This mana is the catalyst for a unique mana affinity known as "Graveyard of Necro Fantasia", it is through this ability that all things eaten and digested by Satanaya are added to the 'graveyard' in her bowels and thus become apart of Satanaya's undying body. Combined with the fact that Satanaya has eaten...a lot of things beyond humans makes for an incomprehensible amount of beasts and creatures literally just sitting in her meta-physical gut. Of course, this graveyard's size isn't without it's effects on Satanaya...after all, she used to be quite thin...when she was human...

A corpse witch summoned by the efforts of the Circle_of_Jermod. Noooot done yet.
